Nicholas represented me and did an excellent job-- the case against me was dismissed, even though a young Deputy District Attorney (DDA) was persistently attacking me in the courtroom. Nicholas remained calm during the DDA's boisterous, upsetting opening argument, and delivered an excellent opening ...statement of his own. In fact, the DDA later commented outside the courtroom to Nicholas that he was very impressed with Mr. Rosenberg's opening statement. Mr. Rosenberg was very astute, and caught the DDA violating agreed upon terms for the proceeding. He firmly, but politely, pointed this fact out to the judge and the case was declared a mistrial and immediately dismissed. The DDA's tactic was somewhat subtle, and I feel that a less astute attorney may have just let the DDA continue, not recognizing the violation. Having worked in the criminal justice system myself for 11 years, I was impressed with Mr. Rosenberg's attention to detail and ability to analyze events surrounding this case. Nicholas has a very professional demeanor that commands respect in the courtroom. I highly recommend him!
