The best of the best!

There are truly no words for how incredible Brian Breiter and his whole team are. If you’re looking for a personal injury attorney just stop here, pick up the phone, and call his office. I was involved in a 2 vehicle crash in June of 2018 that resulted in headaches and neck pain. After months of c...onservative treatment I wasn’t getting better and knew I needed help with next steps. I reached out to Brian who referred me to a partnering attorney (Joseph Johnson) to get started. Joseph got me set up with appointments for top notch medical professionals quickly and I was able to start getting better. Eventually, we discovered that my headaches were caused by a chiari malformation, which is a congenital defect that can be a-symptomatic until trauma, so in this case significant whiplash. The only solution was an invasive brain surgery that resulted in permanently removing part of my skull and the front of my C1 vertebrae. Joseph continued to advocate for my treatment, medical bills and long term care coverage with the insurance company of the at-fault party to no avail. They were unwilling to settle enough to even cover my medical bills! We went through mediation and multiple negotiations and it felt endless. Joseph assured me it would work out and I trusted him implicitly (and boy am I glad I did!) 6 years after the accident, we finally saw our days in court. Joseph looped Brian and another attorney (Jeff Twomey) back in and we got our chance in front of a jury with an all star team of expert witnesses. 2 days of jury selection, 4 days of testimonies and cross examinations, and a day of jury deliberation and we won a huge jury award. There were plenty of moments I had to trust them and trust the process which isn’t easy to do when money is on the line but I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The defense argued I had a pre-existing condition and it was no relation. Brian and Jeff told the story that truly showed how different and difficult my life was after the crash. This isn’t an easy case to make and I’d trust no one else to successfully do it like they did. Brian and Jeff’s ability to speak to a court room, to tell my story, and to advocate for me was unmatched. It was incredible (albeit nerve wrecking) to watch the masters at work. They truly are the lawyers you want and need representing your case, ESPECIALLY if it goes to trial! Not all lawyers are trial lawyers. Settling out of court is faster and easier. It takes true masters of the craft to do what Brian and his team do in front of a jury and a judge. In the end, despite it taking Los Angeles years to find us space in a courtroom, I had my jury award read in the courtroom on September 25th and went to Brian’s office on October 30th to pick up my check. That was partly because his office was efficient in settling up my liens and paying out my experts, and partly because while in court he and his team negotiated with the defense that my award would have to be paid by the defense within 14 days. They knew what they were doing and it benefited me beyond belief. I’m still not 100%, and don’t think i ever will be, but Brian and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was both medically and financially taken care of. I was able to see a top notch neurosurgery expert (Dr. Mobin) at their referral, my medical bills were paid in full and I have enough money for my future to continue the care I will need and to compensate the overall pain, suffering and distress this crash caused me. It was an absolute life changing amount. Again - these guys are amazing. Don’t second guess calling them. Don’t waste your time calling elsewhere. These are the guys you want on your side!

Best of the Best

In January 2019, my family and I were involved in a severe car accident when another vehicle collided with us from the side. The impact left all of us in excruciating pain, but I was particularly affected by the injuries. As we dealt with the aftermath, it seemed like everywhere we turned, there were... advertisements for law firms on bus benches, billboards, TV, and radio, both back then and even now in 2023. After being rescued from the wreckage and receiving medical attention at the hospital, I found myself sitting at our dining room table, contemplating the next steps. To my surprise, at the top of the search results was the Law Offices of Brian Breiter. When I saw his profile picture, I immediately sensed that he was a dedicated advocate for his clients. Without wasting any time, I sent him a message on Yelp, explaining the details of the accident and its impact on my family. Less than five minutes later, Brian called me personally. We spoke for nearly half an hour, during which I couldn't believe the level of attention he was giving me over the phone. The following day, we met in person at his office, and it was clear that he was the right choice for us. Despite the challenges posed by COVID and the prevailing uncertainty, Brian and his remarkable firm stood by my side every step of the way. Mark, a member of Brian's team, ensured that I received exceptional care from physical therapists and underwent procedures such as epidurals and the replacement of two disc levels with the assistance of a talented and skilled spinal surgeon. In the end, Brian and his team achieved results beyond our wildest expectations, both in terms of medical recovery and financial compensation.

Amazing legal team

After my accident and I realized that I would need medical attention for my back and neck, I called one of those big law firms with the commercials with the jingles. They didn’t call back after two days (it would take them a week to finally respond),so I looked up reviews of personal injury law firms... and found an amazing number of 5 star reviews for Brian Breiter. Brian called me back right away, listened to my story, and immediately said I had a case. I am so happy that other firm didn’t call back sooner and take my case because there is NO WAY they could have done as well as Brian and his team. They got me the medical attention I needed and also, in the end, a SPECTACULAR settlement literally far beyond my dreams. In fact, at one point Brian gave me a range of possible values for my case that sounded incredible and, I must admit, I thought at one point he may be overvaluing the case when the other side was countering with numbers far below ours. Well, I was wrong. Brian and his team got me a jaw dropping settlement precisely within Brian’s range of predicted values. But aside from the life changing settlement I received and the terrific job they did to maximize my in pocket share of that settlement by negotiating down the medical expenses, these guys were so supportive throughout the entire case. I literally cannot recommend them more highly. I’m a semi-retired attorney and know something about how personal injury cases work and these guys really know what they are doing. Extremely professional, skilled, and supportive. These guys should be recognized as one of the premier law firms in Los Angeles. Thanks in particular to, beyond Brian, Peter and Mark who were so supportive and always answered my questions.

Professional and kind. An absolute tiger who will fight for you

I have used Brian several times over the years, and he has been an amazing advocate for my family. He has been an amazing resource in several matters, and not only guided us through the legal process, he also connected us to excellent doctors and medical services, and followed up to insure that we r...eceived excellent treatment. When I took a bad fall, my family friend attorney told me that it was too difficult of a case, and that I wouldn't recover anything. It was a slip and fall accident at a theater, that rented space from a larger complex, who rented their property from a management company, who contracted with another company who held the insurance policy. The insurance company was a blank wall. Even though it was a clear issue, there was a pile of evidence, plenty of witnesses, and I was in the ER with injuries clearly caused by the incident, they said that there was nothing they could do for us. Brian fought for us. He is a tiger. He took it through mediation, and got a settlement that took care of my immediate medical needs, and provided enough to cover the lingering issues I was sure to have. When my wife's grandfather took a fall into a cobblestone courtyard from a second story balcony at a hotel, the insurance company said that they weren't liable, since her grandfather knew of the damaged balcony rail, and assumed the risk by staying at the property and touching the rail. This was ridiculous. The reason he knew about the damaged railing is because he was one of several people who had reported it the year before. My wife's grandfather was hurt, and could very easily have died. Her grandfather thought the right thing to do was to take care of things with his own insurance, which was Medicare, and to not pursue anything from a legal standpoint. He hated lawyers. He ended up loving Brian Breiter. Brian and his staff took a lot of time to walk him through what he needed to do, and WHY he needed to do it. He was so focused on his immediate pain, and so worried about hurting the business that owned the balcony rail that gave way - proprietors he had known for 30 years - that he thought some bed rest was fine, and he'd be back on his feet soon enough. He ended up needing a household helper, extended care, and had difficulty living alone, which eventually led to him moving into a retirement facility. If Brian and his staff had not been so patient and supportive, he would not have proceeded with any sort of claim, and would have ended up immobile, in pain, and without care. As it is, Brian helped him get the treatment and help he needed, and was able to get a settlement far above their initial offers, which made sure that he would be able to pay the extra bills that his injury caused. Brian won't just fight for you in court. He is on your side, and his staff is AT your side, through the whole process. I have referred a large handful of people to him, when disaster has struck. In every case, he has come through with spectacular results. I simply can't express enough my confidence in or my gratitude for Brian Breiter and his staff.

A review for Brian Breiter

Words can not describe how thankful I am for Brian Breiter and his team. In 2018, my mother got in an accident due to negligence from a business/property that resulted in a broken hip and required surgery to replace it. I did not know what to do. I knew I needed a personal injury attorney but d...idn't know where to start. Therefore, I went online to search, and then I found Brian Breiter.. with 400+ reviews and 5/5 ratings. I took a leap of faith and gave Brian Breiter a call on what is the next step I should take. The next day, we went to his office and discuss our situation with Brian and his team. When we sat in his conference room, we saw many of the "Top Lawyer of The Year", and "Best Lawyer in California" awards, etc on his wall. That is when we knew Brian is not just a regular lawyer but he is the best of the best. Keep in mind, I was just a college student with no legal experience and my mom doesn't speak English really well. Brian and his team took their time and guide us through the procedures that going to happen moving forward. After the meeting, I did some more research on Brian Breiter and found out that Brian used to teach law as a professor at Pepperdine. Therefore, Brian will not hesitate to stand up in front of a large audience and go toe to toe with a defense lawyer due to his confidence. We decided to let Brian fight for my mom and her case. The defendant's insurance company offered my mom a very disrespectful amount of compensation money for her broken hip (replacement hip surgery). My mom used to be able to walk from 405 to Santa Monica Pier and now she CAN'T even walk 1-2 blocks without pain in her hip. She LOVES to walk around shopping at department stores, that is what makes her happy, and they took her happiness away. It is even worst on winter days because of the metal inside her body and she is in severe pain. During all those long depositions and medical check-ups, Brian and his team were with us along the way and update us on every progress of the case. After a long few years of a legal battle in court due to Covid and restrictions, we are happy to announce that they settled with Brian at MAXIMUM insurance. I just want to tell you personally, if you are looking for a personal injury lawyer and don't have any experience or who to trust. YOU HAVE FOUND IT. Brian is compassionate, empathetic, smart, talented, and many more. He is the real-life Iron Man. I wrote this from a bottom of my heart and maybe if you see this review you will take a leap of faith like I did with Brian and he will help you win the case and get what you deserve from whatever pain and suffering you or your family have endured.
