The Tree That Was Ignored

Brian Breiter and Jeff Twomey are simply exceptional. They took on my father’s personal injury case against the City of Long Beach — a daunting challenge with countless legal hurdles. From day one, Brian and Jeff navigated every obstacle with skill, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to ju...stice. Having never appeared in court before, Brian and his team conducted a practice trial in their mock courtroom so we could learn to get comfortable with the setting. The city initially offered zero compensation for my father’s injuries and refused to settle (despite substantial evidence against them which they tried to hide) but Brian and Jeff took the case all the way to trial, where we ultimately won with a unanimous, multi–seven-figure jury verdict. The real hero!

Hate reliving this—but if it helps even one person, it’s worth it. The short version: A phone call my husband made to Attorney Brian Breiter saved my life. If you’re on the fence about who to hire—don’t make the mistake I did. Call Brian. The long version: In March 2018, I was two months pre...gnant when I was rear-ended by a truck in stop-and-go traffic in Diamond Bar. I was crushed between two vehicles. The pain in my head was immediate and blinding—like someone cracked a bat across my forehead. My neck, my back, my arm… all on fire. I started bleeding internally from a torn placenta.
