Dream Team

Two and a half years ago, many aspects of my life changed in an instant. I was struck in the head by an unsecured pilates reformer board while simply shopping at a clothing sample sale at a pilates studio. I didn't "pass out" as many expect one would from being struck on the head. At the time, I actu...ally thought I was fine and proceeded to drive home and continue on with my day, only thinking that I had some neck pain. As the week went on, things got a bit worse. I was diagnosed with a concussion the next morning and proceeded to go downhill as the week continued. My husband watched me as I was unable to care for my three kids and didn't know what to do. Concussions were unchartered territory for us so he called an old friend Brian Breiter for guidance. Brian wouldn't give my husband, Adam, any legal advice at all, even though that's his area of expertise. He said there wouldn't be any discussion of legal terms until we figure out my medical situation as health comes first. He advised Adam to get me to the ER where then I was advised to go to a neurologist. **This was the first of many times Brian and his group put my health and my medical care far above anything else.*** It was December and we all know how difficult it can be to get a doctor appointment at any time, let alone the holidays. Brian and Mark helped me get a neurologist appointment right away when any other doctor we called couldn't see me for months. Over the last two years, from the first neurologist to other neurologists to psychologists and more, Brian has helped me get appointments with doctors that helped me get answers when it seemed as if there were no answers. He encouraged me to keep trying to get better when I just wanted to crawl into bed and give up. He helped me see that things will continue to get better when I felt myself falling back down. When he didn't have the answer I was looking for, he reminded me that it was probably time for me to go back to the doctor (I'm not usually a person who goes to the doctor often!). More often than not, he would make me laugh when I wanted to cry. Most importantly, Brian was always there with a gentle reminder that this can be a long process and not to give up. That's just a part of what Brian did, he really did focus on my health first- because that's the kind of person he is. But the reality is, you are probably reading this review because you are interested in him as an attorney and this is where he shines above all. We attempted several times to settle with the defense to no avail. Brian tried very hard to work with the other side to come to reasonable terms but throughout the entire process, that never happened. After three failed mediations, and listening to Brian's advice, we ended up going to trial. I was nervous heading into court but it turns out there is no one else I would rather have by my side during this entire experience. In the courtroom, I sat with Brian Breiter, Jeff Twomey, and Steve Hoffman. Mr. Twomey is a very impressive young attorney with a great career ahead of him. Mr. Hoffman blew me away with his medical knowledge and his ability to depose and cross examine the medical experts in the case. He could "out-doctor" any doctor on the stand! Mr. Breiter kept the entire courtroom engaged, entertained, and informed during the entire six day trial. His opening statement and closing argument solidified why he's considered one of the best. The jury, with only a short two hour deliberation, unanimously sided with us and awarded us more than ten times the amount that the defense ever offered in any mediation. IF I HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE AGAIN, I'D WISH FOR THE SAME DREAM TEAM OF BRIAN BREITER AND HIS OFFICE

Highly recommend

I can not express the gratitude I have towards Brian and his team! I am so grateful I came across his firm when I was in need from the services of a good attorney. I was in a head on collision on a Saturday & having been in a car accident in the past I knew having knowledgeable legal counsel was impo...rtant. I messaged Brian and even during the weekend he discussed my case with me giving me advice on what to do next. He scheduled an in person meeting with me & my husband the next week and took care of everything from there so I could concentrate on my recovery. Overall the experience was so much better than the last experience I had with my previous attorney. I couldn't be more happy with the way he handled my case. He eased the concerns and worries I was having by constantly communicating with me on where the case was. I was very surprised that they gave me so much personal attention throughout my case. He was very understanding towards me as a client and person. He did whatever was necessary to gain a favorable result for me. I would 100% recommend Brian and his law firm to anyone and everyone

Wouldn't Go Anywhere Else

In March if 2016, I suffered a mild traumatic brain injury when I collided with a car while riding a bicycle. In the wake of an injury, the most important thing is recovery. Having Brian and the rest of his crew on your team enables you to fully take your mind off of legal issues. His team enabled me... to focus on getting care and getting better. They helped me through the process. They helped me get the care I needed. I was confused and had limited cognition. Not once did they do anything that wasn't in my best interest. The whole team has integrity. They are very easy to contact and always took the time necessary to help me understand where my case was and what would come next. We settled for the insurance maximums. However, the most significant thing about the experience is that after signing with them, I never had to stress or worry about being financially taken care of. If you or someone you know may have a mild brain injury, I wrote this piece to help others understand what that experience is like: www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-i-lost-my-mind-sort-got-back-david-phillips

THE BEST!!!

4 years ago I was hit in the pedestrian crosswalk by a Yellow Cab walking across the street on my way to work. I had the green and followed the laws when crossing the street. I sustained many injuries and was left with lifelong back injuries. I have spent the last 4 years fighting Yellow Cab and it's... disgusting insurance company to take responsibility for running me over in the crosswalk. I have lived with their awful attorney, John Doherty, sending people to follow me, video tape me, as well as my co workers, and harass my employers with useless supeanas in hopes of embarrassing me to get me to drop my case. They harassed and bullied the Good Samaritan eye witness in her deposition so much that she hid from having to testify in court with this cruel lawyer. After this eye witness's father passed away 1 week before trial, the defense attorney threatened arrest and jail time for her if she did not testify. Even though we could have easily just had her deposition read in court to save her the trouble of coming to court during her mourning period. He wanted to trip her up and confuse her as English wasn't her first language, like he did in her deposition. A tactic that came back to bite him in the ass thanks to the brilliance of my lawyer, Brian Breiter and his colleagues. If it was not for my OUTSTANDING lawyers Brian Breiter and his incredible team, Steve Hoffman, CJ Pardon, Mark R, I would have given up. This was an incredibly hard fight. I can't thank him enough as we were finally victorious in court. It took 4 years, continuous physical pain, life threatening procedures, countless days of mental anguish, a jury, and a week long trial to get justice. Brian and his team exuded professionalism, passion, intelligence and were not at all intimidated by the awful defense attorney John Doherty and his bully tactics. Prior to this, I knew nothing of the legal world in this capacity and Brian and his team were not only tremendously skilled, but supportive, caring, and eager to educate me thru a new and incredibly difficult experience. I never in a million years thought this case would go to trial, it seemed so black and white to me, a car hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk, but boy was I wrong. Having your integrity questioned is crushing especially in front of a jury of your peers. I broke down in tears after the defense attorney's closing argument called me a liar, a fraud and a scam artist. Within a second, Brian Breiter hugged me, comforted me and assured me that no matter what, he would help me get thru this long after the verdict, whatever it may be. I hate for anyone to be a victim of an incident like this, but if unfortunately you are, I pray you get the law offices of Brian Breiter to represent you. He will care about you. He will comfort you. He will fight for you. He will win. And he will make you laugh along the way:). I adore him, Steve, CJ, Mark and the whole team. I am grateful to feel bonded to them for the rest of my life!

Review for Brian J Breiter, Attorney At Law

I acknowledge that a deck of cards isn’t always fair. It can simply be the luck of the draw. I unfortunately suffered after a horrible car accident. My quick reflexes most likely along with my well-built car saved my life. I was unfortunately hit by a 23 year old who had fallen asleep at the whee...l while being drunk and convicted of his second DUI. He was traveling at very high speeds at what I assumed to be over 80 miles an hour out of an alley plowing into my driver’s side of my car while off to pick up some frozen yogurt with my wife at the time. We were hit hard; the car was an absolute wreck. The accident was horrendous as imagined and on the local news. My only thoughts at the time were the fight or flight reactions, to ensure my screaming wife was safe and then to see if the guy who hit us would survive as I thought he would soon drown due to the gushing 40 foot fire hydrant that was engulfing over us. The driver was unconscious, his car was upside-down as he had driven inside a home. I’m unsure how many times we had spun, and w/o going into all the emotions and what I recall to this date I was taken away on a stretcher due to neck pains. This tough, thick skinned guy who has never called out sick in his 22 year professional career went to work to run his kitchen the following morning and later learned he had a 6 mm herniated disc that needed to either be fused or replaced with an artificial disc. We took legal action, and at first thought hope was thin as our current insurance wasn’t at the level we had wanted, and the driver was thought to be illegal and uninsured. We hired an attorney that was referred by a fellow family acquaintance that helped start the legal process. Within the first few weeks I was under so much stress I thought I was having a heart attack and rushed to the emergency room. Life was challenging, I was under so much stress and tired and regrettably agreed to end a marriage that I will always regret not suffering through more and taking each other back. Soon after a long time friend and well respected peer recommended that I change to his personal attorney for stronger legal representation. I undertook an artificial disc replacement surgery, following a second spine surgery and learning I had a fractured scaphoid in my left wrist and a tear in my right shoulder that also needed surgeries. My new attorney became ill and had developed lung cancer and unfortunately passed away within 6 weeks of learning of his disease. I then fell into another attorneys care as I had no choice and my previous attorney’s office needed to start my litigation with an attorney to represent my case. Things became very unorganized, and as we became close to trial I was feeling very frustrated as my new my attorney wasn’t leading me to the direction I needed him to achieve. I needed an attorney that was a fighter, an attorney with a rock star reputation that wouldn’t take no for an answer and believed in his clients. I was so fed up with my 3rd attorney as we were not prepared for mediation and poorly prepared for trail. My attorney didn’t have the experience to take on the reigns and was simply setting my case up for settlement w/o taking the necessary steps to showcase how strong my case was. This is not acceptable for my life, and many others would have simply stayed on with him. He would have accepted a minimal settlement to ensure he didn’t have to tackle on expenses with building my case. I then seeked new council. I spoke to all my doctors who are respected and considered the very best in their field. With the help and recommendation of my doctors and luckily a close friend I found Brian Breiter as the legal counsel that I seeked. I had considered others that had won multi million dollar settlements. Ultimately I made my decision based on Brian Breiter’s overwhelmingly large number of personal reviews. This is not the norm for clients to make
