Amazing Personal Injury Lawyer

I was represented by Brian Breiter and team after being hit while walking at a crosswalk and suffering a traumatic brain injury. Within 6-7 months, Brian settled my case for an amount greater than I could have possibly hoped for. He did a phenomenal job. At the time of the accident, my family conv...inced me to get a lawyer just in case my medical bills mounted (which they did). I was apprehensive at first; I'm not a litigious person and have never been involved in any sort of lawsuit. But I knew that I was not at fault and that my injuries were serious and would likely be long-term. The process of choosing an attorney was incredibly stressful. I didn't have any friends or family in the area to recommend a personal injury lawyer so I had to rely on sites like Yelp. We all know that sites like these can be immensely valuable, but also that you need to read reviews with some skepticism. Brian had so many rave reviews that I briefly worried that some could be fake. But then I thought, if the guys has this many good reviews he would obviously get a ton of business from other Yelpers. If the quality of his representation was worse than expected, you would expect a bunch of bad 1 star reviews. Brian has virtually 0 negative reviews. He really is that good. Before deciding upon an attorney, I called 6-8 firms and spoke with them over the phone about my situation. For those of you in need of personal injury representation, I recommend that you do this as well. I was able to learn a lot about the process and got a variety of opinions about how I should proceed. Most of them, including Brian, thought that my case would likely take years to resolve (which makes it all the more impressive that Brian got the case resolved so quickly). The only negative to calling so many lawyers is that they all became very interested in taking my case. Personally injury law can be a very lucrative and competitive market and I knew I had a good case, so this wasn't too surprising. In the end, I decided to meet with three lawyers in person. The final choice was between Brian and a larger, downtown firm that is also well-regarded on Yelp. Both seemed quite capable, but I decided to go with Brian because I was more confident that I would be working with him personally throughout the case. Brian assured me that if the case went to trial or arbitration, it would be him representing me. In the larger firm, I suspected that I might have had to deal more with other members of the firm. It also didn't hurt that Brian's fees were also much more reasonable. Throughout the case, Brian was extremely easy to get in touch with. I could email him, call his office, or even call his personal cell phone. Brian or Mark (another lawyer at the firm) kept me up to date with everything and let me know if I needed to do anything. They made sure that I was receiving the proper medical care and offered to front several of my medical payments that health insurance would not cover. At the end of the case, we needed to repay my health insurance for what it had paid towards my treatment. Brian, who fittingly teaches a class in negotiation, was able to greatly reduce what we needed to pay. When my settlement check was ready, Brian offered to leave his family's Passover celebration on a Saturday to meet with me and get me the check so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. I really wish this accident never happened, but I can't imagine how much worse off I'd be if I didn't have a great lawyer like Brian at my side.

Great Attorney!

Brian did an amazing job with our case and I would highly recommend him. Our family member was killed in a motor vehicle accident and it was very traumatic for our family. We live in NJ and did not know any attorneys in Los Angeles. An aquaitance recommended Brian, and it was the best decision... we made. Brian had incredible patience dealing with our family members, especially my mother-in-law who was especially mentally distraught over this accident. He made us feel as if he genuinely cared about us and we were all part of the same team. He was able to have the insurance company settle for the full term limits and my mother-in-law did not have to testify or give a deposition, which would have been extremely difficult considering here mental state and the fact that she is on the other side of the country. If you have a personal injury issue, do not hesitate to call Brian, you will be in very good hands.

Thank you Brian!!

Everyone has a passion. Mine was playing collegiate water polo, and after a high speed motor accident it was almost taken away from me. Thankfully, I met Brian Breiter and his staff, who completely handled the legal side for me while I focused on returning to my athletic career. Brian drove out to my... house in Agoura on a Friday evening to meet with my family and see first hand how bad my accident was. I will never forget the way he looked me in the eyes and promised that he would justly and efficiently handle the legal side of my situation. Being injured is never easy, but the people around you, particularly the ones that genuinely care about your wellbeing, make it better. Brian Breiter is one of those people. He helped me in my darkest hour, and made a real difference in my life. If you or a family member are injured, I highly recommend the Law Offices of Brian Breiter. Let them handle the legal side so that you can focus on rest and recovery. They are personal, prompt, and always ready to answer questions and help you out. Everyone has a passion. Brian Breiter's is helping others.

I am so thankful to have met Brian Breiter. He has helped me and my family so much!

My dad was involved in a truck accident. He was cut off by a driver of a commercial limousine service and lost control of the truck he was driving while trying to avoid hitting the vehicle that cut him off. He was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries and put into the ICU where he spe...nt the next month. I did not know what would happen to our family because my dad is the head of the household. Words cannot describe how we felt when we saw our father in the hospital. I had so many questions about what we needed to do to make sure all his treatment was taken care of and our household expenses were covered while my dad was in this critical state. I knew that I needed an attorney but did not know where to look. I started looking online and uploaded my contact info to a lawyer referral website. I had so many attorneys call me and I was so confused! I did not know who to trust. It was a very hard moment for us. I decided to do some research and found Brian Breiter! I read many positive testimonials about his services. I called him on a Saturday afternoon asking him for help! I think he felt my desperation through the phone, because I was hoping to meet with him sometime during the following week, but he said he could meet with me that same afternoon. Brian took time off his personal family time to meet me that same afternoon. It was so impromptu that he had to come to his office in t-shirt and shorts. I really appreciated that gesture. I was impressed by how well he received me. He listened to me patiently and after I was done he explained everything that could happen with great detail and I knew that I could trust him to take with my dad's case. From then on, Brian helped us to navigate through the steps we needed to take to ensure our family's wellbeing. He even referred a great workers comp lawyer, Lester Friedman, to handle the workers comp portion of my dad's case since my dad's accident happened during his work. It has been a long road for my dad's recovery. It was a long road for the settlement of the lawsuit against the insurance of the limousine that caused the accident. Brian was able to maximize our settlement by negotiating the workers comp lien for the medical care my dad received down to pennies on the dollar. Now that the legal portion of this ordeal is over, I can look back and thank Brian for taking on my dad's case and handling it with professionalism. Brian was always available when I needed to ask questions and never gave us a reason to worry, he was even able to speak with my parents in Spanish because Brian is Bilingual, which is a huge plus! I recommend Brian Breiter if you should find yourself in the same unfortunate situation as our family was in. Now we can focus on my dad's continuing recovery. Brian and his team are welcoming, compassionate, and knowledgeable and if I ever need a lawyer again I will be contacting them immediately.

Brian Breiter Delivered

The headline is that Brian Breiter got us the maximum payout from the two insurance companies involved in our case. For me, that was the most important criteria in rating Mr. Breiter, and he certainly delivered. I also found Brian to be honest, sympathetic, and ultimately, true to his word. I ...was in a serious car accident with my wife, our friend (who was 5 months pregnant), and our friend's 2-year-old son. We were t-boned by a confused elderly man driving a large van. The four of us had varying degrees of injuries, the most serious of which was a traumatic brain injury suffered by my wife. Unfortunately, the driver's coverage maxed out at $30K. Thankfully, our friend had uninsured motorist coverage of $100K (total, so $70K plus the other driver's $30K.) Considering the extent of our injuries and the relatively low amount to be split between 4 parties, I assumed this case would be a slam dunk. But insurance companies don't like to part with their money - and they'll do whatever they can to pay out as little as possible. That's why you need a lawyer like Brian who is capable of negotiating with them, and who is also ready to call their bluff and take them to court if need be. When the 2nd insurance company was considering paying out less than the max amount (which again, was mind-boggling to me), Brian suggested that the insurance rep come sit down with the three injured adults, so that we could tell him how our life was affected by the car accident. It was a smart move which gave the insurance rep a little preview of what he might be up against in court (though it wasn't the most enjoyable hour of my life to be sure). A few hours later, Brian called and told us that we'd be receiving the max amount. Brian was also able to negotiate with our individual health insurance companies to come down on the medical bills we owed them by about a third. (You see, when there's another party involved in the accident, with a potential settlement down the line, your health insurance company will put a lien on the amount that they covered, and demand to be paid back out of your settlement.) Finally, the general fee that a personal injury lawyer usually takes is 33.33% of the total settlement. If your case goes to court, the fee will be closer to 40% (38% in Brian's case, if memory serves correct). I personally believe that this is exorbitantly high, but it's the industry standard and such is life. (That's not a knock on Brian, but more on the industry itself.) That stated, I would strongly advise against trying to do this on your own. Brian Breiter was a steady guide through turbulent legal waters. This isn't just about knowing the law, it's about having the right relationships - and I believe Brian excels in that department. What might be par-for-the-course for Brian, would have most assuredly been a nightmare for me. And since our total max settlement payout was going to be relatively low, considering the severity of our accident, Brian initially said that he would probably lower his fee when it was all said and done. He stayed true to his word, coming down to about 31% respectively. (To be honest, I was hoping he'd come down more, but the truth is, he had no legal obligation to come down at all.) Ultimately, a personal injury lawyer's cut is steep, but well worth it if you hire the right one. As you can see from these reviews, Brian Breiter is clearly one of the good ones. I am very grateful that we can now put this difficult episode behind us knowing that we hired the right man for the job.
