Paper mill

I hired Shook & Stone for my disability case in October 2018. My case was not submitted to disability until April 2019. I never spoke to an attorney regarding my case only three case workers over the course of less than a year. The firm never submitted my medical files to disability, in fact the onl...y documentation submitted to disability were the documents I personally submitted to disability and faxed to Shook & Stone for them to send to disability again. Since April, disability has contacted Shook & Stone requesting my medical records. The response from Shook & Stone was to send three separate blank attachments, then to not respond. In the meantime I continued to receive email updates informing me that disability had everything they needed and that I only had to wait for the “sign off”from the medical examiner. In truth, they never even had my medical records in the first place. The final insult is that I cannot even get this firm to send myself and disability the letter stating that Shook & Stone no longer work for me after I personally took a city bus to fire them in person. When I took a copy of said letter to the disability office I was literally laughed at when I told them who my attorney was, and now I know why. A week later I called to make sure they acknowledged the letter I provided to them and they informed me that they would send a letter acknowledging that I fired them. Never happened, again it was expected. I was even told to expect a call. I requested another letter today on September 16th. I wonder if I will ever see it. In my experience this firm is a paper mill, you will never speak to an attorney just a revolving door of case workers. The last one I was assigned to never even returned a call. It probably wouldn’t matter as I would just be lied to anyway.
