Amazing Attorney

Nothing short of excellent! From the first hello, how can I help you- to congratulations, your discharge has been entered, you were superb! Patient, understanding, compassionate, kind, considerate, knowledgeable, highly-skilled expert are a few words that come to mind when I think about you. Superior... quality and service. Although a difficult situation, it has been truly "our pleasure" working with you and Jay. We always talk about what an excellent attorney we have and gladly share your information. You also educated us on many issues we were unaware of so that we will never be in this situation again. Words cannot express our gratitude and we thank God everyday to have found you.

Great attorney

I live in Las Vegas and had a legal matter involving bankruptcy. My attorney in Las Vegas informed me that I would need an attorney from Arizona since the claim was filed in Arizona. I knew no one so went online and searched for Arizona attorneys. No one had better reviews than D.L. Drain I cannot p...raise this attorney enough. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

My Respectful and Godly Opinon

I pray this is allowed for I am fully aware it goes beyond the scope of a review but none the less very important to us all; none attorneys and Clients alike in this great country of ours, Although for the most part Mrs. Drain was polite and very professional when addressing my concerns of the mor...al ethical and criminal aspect of a Trustee using the EIC credit for which it was not intended by President Gerald Ford. I certainly hold no ill will for sure but the following opinion stands. I am aware I put all attorneys on the spot including Diane Drain as I pressed my point and to all the professionals at AVVO Bare with me as I attempt to explain why the EIC is being incorrectly used and not as intended. Considering that the EIC is NOT a tax but is distributed through the IRS as Credit for families and thanks to President Gerald Ford and presidents in office after with the exclusion of obama has greatly helped families over the years. To include the EIC in bankruptcy is akin to stealing and defrauding the U.S. government. Being a choice for my family it is not required for us to receive it but available if we so choose. If a trustee attempts to force us to submit the paperwork ie amendment for the EIC, it is analogous to putting a pistol (extortion) to my head and say "or else". Thou shalt not steal or covet (desire) or coerce or extort anything that is thy neighbors. Therefore if it comes up at the creditors meeting I will respectfully decline even if the trustee threatens dismissal. My Wife and I Agree that it is wrong for us to process the paperwork for the EIC for the express purpose of giving the EIC to the trustee and the leftovers to the creditors. This without a doubt ethically morally and criminal to use the EIC for which President Gerald Ford did not intend. We stand our ground for doing what is right Under God and as free citizens in a free country and republic THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! All I have said is within my rights according to the First Amendment. Lord God Open their Hearts and their eyes to what and who we are as a free people before you OUR GOD. Amen Bless you Diane Drain and family. May the Lord Keep you and yours safe in these last days. King

Minister King is correct that, in my opinion, EIC (earned income credit) should not be something that a bankruptcy trustee can take for the benefit of creditors. Unfortunately, each state controls (normally) what type of property is "exempt" or protected for the residents of that state. Arizona does not protect EIC, but they should. In 2013 I helped lead a group that changed many of the Arizona exemptions (they had not been changed since 1982). Unfortunately, we did not take on the EIC issue because we concentrated our efforts on less controversial issues. Anyone can take up the challenge of asking the Legislature to change our exemptions. I wholeheartedly encourage Minister King to do so. If he is successful it will benefit all Arizona residents and he will earn my personal thanks forever.

Deed in Lieu vs. Foreclosure Questions

I spoke with Diane a few minutes ago and she was so very helpful. I had several questions regarding the differences between and benefits of a deed in lieu vs. foreclosure on property that I own in Arizona. I am so grateful for her time and expertise. What a wonderful service she and others like he...r are providing to the general public. Thank you, Diane, for helping me navigate my next steps and giving me the information I needed to move forward. What a relief!

My Experience with DD

Ms Drain was great to work with. She was very helpful in explaining the process from beginning to the end. Any questions or concerns I had, I'd called her and she always returned my calls or emails, even on weekends. She kept me informed on the different mailings that I received and I felt she loo...ked out for what was best for me and advised me on it. I'm very grateful that she took my file and finished the process.
