Excellent lawyer, really helped me out!

I was in a bad situation, I needed a lawyer quickly. Went to Avvo and saw how highly reviewed Aaron was. I soon found how that he truly is that talented and knowledgeable. I was facing a super extreme DUI with a .23 BAC and Aaron was able to get it down to a regular DUI. He truly investigated my case.... He interviewed witnesses, reviewed the body cam footage (found a glaring inconsistency in the officer's statement), and truly got down to the issue with the prosecutor. I was looking at 45 days in jail, Aaron got me 1 day and 4 days house arrest; he reduced my fines by $2,000; my interlock requirement went from 18 months to a potential 6 months; one of the biggest things he did was push the suspension paperwork so I could retain my license and continue working and avoid very expensive SR-22 insurance. Definitely would recommend Aaron for your criminal and DUI defense.

Very Professional, Conscientious, Worked Hard to get DUI Dropped

I found Aaron by looking at Aavo web site. I looked for an attorney that had recent reviews and good positive feedback. My son had a car accident, hitting an undercover cop and then failing the field sobriety test. His blood work came back in at slightly above .08. However we had an independent t...est done right after the police blood test and Aaron was able to hire an expert to give us the testimony we would need at trial that my son's independent blood test was below a .08. This was enough for Aaron to negotiate a plea deal of reckless driving instead of the DUI. This saved us quite a bit, including avoiding the ignition interlock, and the additional insurance.

The Best Scottsdale DUI Defense Attorney

DUI attorney Aaron Black did a fabulous job for me and got a resolution for me in my case that was more than I could have hoped for. From the moment we found him, we had a great level of confidence that we had someone who knew the system inside and out. He did a wonderful job of explaining the sys...tem to us, preparing us for what to expect, and answering all of our questions. My case involved some facts that gave rise to some legal arguments which Aaron exploited to maximum potential. He filed pre-trial motions to explore those issues in order to better my position in my case. He researched issues, identified potential trial expert witnesses and continued his discussions with the prosecutors in an effort to obtain for me the best possible result. Aaron, because of his intimate knowledge of this area of law and his contacts within the DUI defense community, became aware of some serious work-related wrongdoing on the part of an important government witness, the forensic blood tech analyst. He again sought to investigate this issue, filed motions on my behalf based upon this issue, and made the case for me before the Judge. Despite every argument on my behalf raised by Aaron, the Lead Prosecutor refused to offer me a deal. However, that Lead Prosecutor was abruptly and unexpectedly fired. Immediately, Aaron was on the phone fighting for a deal for me from the Acting Lead Prosecutor. And he was able to obtain for me a reasonable disposition, a Reckless Driving charge. It was truly a journey to this great result for me and Aaron was singularly responsible for it. He is really a great guy, personable and upbeat. He is a good communicator and is very patient. His demeanor really made this all bearable for me. It was an amazing comfort to know he was in control and was doing everything possible to advocate for me. His expertise in this area shines through. I highly recommend him to anyone who might find themselves in the same unhappy predicament in which I found myself. He is simply the best at what he does.

Amazing Lawyer!! Facing 2nd DUI

I feel so fortunate to have had Aaron Black defend me on my possible second DUI. Right away you could see he really understood the process extremely well. And was able to explain things very clearly- what to expect and how things could go. I was completely confident in him the whole time. He thor...oughly investigated my case. And was able to save me from a 2nd time DUI- dismissed and pled down to reckless driving. Saved me from an interlock device for 12 months, well over $2000, 30 hours of community service, and 30 days in jail. Even the judge said you are going to be happy with this deal. Michael Black really helped me in a grim situation. And I'm very happy that he represented me- I can't thank him enough.

I appreciate the time yo took to fill out a review. We knew we had a case when I was able to nail down the cop at the MVD hearing. We were able to use those statements when negotiating the DUI. Even the judge realized what a sweet deal we got!

If you have a DUI, hire Aaron Black.

I contacted Aaron after my DUI. He responded immediately and set up a meeting the next day (on a Saturday). Aaron clearly explained the process, likely outcomes, and fees. He investigated every aspect of the case, responded immediately to every one of my calls/texts/e-mails along the way, and took... care of all of the details and court appearances so I only had to appear for the final judgement. Aaron was able to get me credit for time served (24 hr) with the additional 9 days waived (with 1-day alcohol class), no probation, and a significantly reduced fine. It was the best possible outcome thanks to Aaron's experience and knowledge. I will also say he was compassionate and encouraging through what was a very difficult experience for me. The best legal decision I've ever made was hiring Aaron.
