Best Possible Outcome

Throughout the process of dealing with my DUI, I was kept well informed every step of the way. Dave kept in touch with me on a regular basis to discuss my options in-depth. He was able to schedule every meeting and court proceeding at my convenience; being a full-time student, employee, and mother, t...his helped a great deal and relieved a huge amount of stress. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome of my case and I am extremely thankful for the entire law firm in helping me navigate through this difficult chapter in my life that I can now put an end to!

K vs. State of AZ - DUI - Dismissed

As anyone will say, dealing with a DUI is a huge burden and is very tough to deal with and I am glad I had Craig representing me. During the 6 month period between the first phone call I made to Craig to the evidentiary hearing, I was kept well informed. They were very knowledgeable, helpful, kind,... upfront, honest and very timely with any questions I had. All possibilities were laid out in front of me, nothing was hidden. They were very hopeful yet very realistic with me and always explained what could/would happen. They walked me through all the steps, one at a time. I would recommend the Gillespie Law Firm to anyone needing help, particularly in the area of a DUI or DWI. BAC. level of .133 and the case was dismissed

DUI count 2. Went to trial = NOT GUILTY :-)

I read though as many review's as I could, I liked Craig's reviews and really liked the fact that he was a Prosecutor for 5 yrs in the beginning of his Career. Just like any firm, after you hire them you deal with their hired on assistance/attorney. At first I didn't care for that, but by the end, I... wouldn't have had it any other way, Dave Roscoe is a very intelligent attorney and on his A game at all times. He conducted great interviews(recorded, then transcribed ) with all the police involved. This had the cops stumbling all over themselves on the stand when Craig got ahold of them at trial(with Transcript in hand). Craig has a very laid back and calmness about him that made the jury feel at ease and actually take the time to listen to him. He makes sure the jury sees you as an innocent person, not somebody that's guilty just because you are sitting in the defendants chair. He is also a very good juror selector which is critical. He studies each candidate in the selection process and makes good decisions in the tough final picks. He never made any promises as to the outcome , seemed to give his very honest opinion. All in all I had a very good experience with this firm and had an amazing outcome at the trial (Not Guilty) that I would never had if not for hiring Craig. Would def recommend.

Competent lawyer with a realistic strategy and great follow-through

Competent lawyer with a realistic strategy and great follow-through We hired Mr. Gillespie on October 2013, it was our second time in about ten years. The first-time we hired him was because my daughter had received a nasty ticket from an angry policeman that charged her with everything he could.... On that occasion Mr. Gillespie negotiated the ticket down, which resulted on pretty much a dismissal of the case. The current case was quite serious. Mr. Gillespie examined the charges from the start and clearly stated what was involved, and what was reasonable to expect. She was being charged with a felony, a charge that if convicted would mean the end of the career she has been preparing for; furthermore, a felony would make it very difficult for her to obtain any kind of employment. I should mention that Mr. Gillespie is a board certified lawyer in Arizona, so he belongs to a small group of criminal lawyers in the State that hold that credential. He has competition, for sure, but he is a serious person. When talking to him he comes across as a disciplined individual that takes his profession seriously; a person that talks to his client with respect but who does not believe in sugar coating a major problem. If you are in trouble, he is going to tell you so. It should be mentioned that Mr. Gillespie makes himself available when you need him. The three times when a phone call was necessary, he was available at the time specified by the firm’s secretary. After hiring him, we provided him as much support as we could by furnishing all available pertinent background information. It has been made clear to us that the job of the attorney in cases like my daughter’s was to provide as much information to the prosecutor as possible, so a clear picture emerged regarding the nature of her character. Cases are won through preparation – a Louis Nizer paraphrase. How Mr. Gillespie presented my daughter’s case to the prosecutor is not something that I cared to ask. As the saying goes, it is not appetizing to watch how sausage is made. In the end her case was reduced to a misdemeanor, a charge we can live with. The dream outcome was a dismissal, but for that we needed the help of a witch doctor.

Craig Gillespie

Our case was very complicated as it involved several charges in the juvenile court and a DUI. Craig did a very good job working with the prosecutor to minimize the juvenile issues. The interaction of the juvenile court decisions and the ADOT administrative law was more complicated than we anticipat...ed. Overall, Craig understands the juvenile court system and how to work with the prosecutors. Craig was easy to work with and he and his partner Dave Roscoe were responsive to our questions and concerns.
