I went to this lawyer for 2 cases. My situation was difficult I was under so much stress. I caught another case and being in my situation I went with him. I later find out that he never went to court and what i paid for everyone else charges 75% less than him. I got a standard deal that i would have ...gotten without him both cases costed as much as as four cases from any other lawyer. For what i paid i can only say predatory. I should have gone by myself so I could see what was going on. I found out why I didn't go to court. It's because he didnt did everything by mail. And didnt even catch mistakes that first 2 minutes the lawyer I talked to caught. I feel misrepresented and treated like fast food. I'm so disappointed and feel I've been taken advantage of. I have advice from his paralegal and the other source I asked (a lawyer) their advice was completely the same and his was not I wouldn't put my trust in this lawyer at all. Totally taken to the cleaners on pricing. Sum it all up, I paid down Perrin money for brown label beer. If you have this kind of money have at it but too expensive for the result I got. Shop other lawyers his pricing is unfair and predatory.

Recommended to me by a bail bondsman when I got in a jam. Pretty much gave me the straight skinny, that I was looking at jail time given my charge. From the beginning, he gave me a course of action to pursue while he went to work on my defense. Utah's courts can never be accused of being a "rocket do...cket" but Jason was there whenever a new appearance was required. He managed to get the prosecutor to knock the charge down from 2nd degree felony [ 1-15 years] to 3rd degree felony [0-5 years], for which we took a plea deal. At sentencing, the prosecutor actually spoke in my behalf about my pro-active efforts [recommended by Jason] to correct my problem and after Jason's closing, the judge gave me a suspended sentence, 3 years probation, psychological help [already begun] and no electronic monitoring and no fine. It wasn't cheap by any means, but when one is initially looking at 1-15, pretty much a minimal investment to secure your freedom. Definitely 2 thumbs up on his skills, and this was not a DUI case, which is his specialty.

When I hired Mr. Schatz, the Driver’s License Division decision was to take no action and not deny, suspend, revoke or disqualify my driving privilege. They returned my license in 10 days and I was entitled to the impound fee. It also did not count towards any other vehicular infractions. I cannot... say how happy I am with the services of Mr. Schatz and highly recommend him for any kind of vehicular infraction, especially a DUI.
