Before speaking with Mr. Holmes I talked to other attorneys who promised a dismissal - without even hearing what happened. After we hired Mr. Holmes, he went to court for us and got an offer from the prosecutor. ...Mr. Holmes was very good about calling us and telling us what the offer was. He explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. We didn't like the offer and told him. He explained that he didn't like the offer either, but told us he was required to tell us about the offer so we were aware . It wasn't a dismissal like we wanted, but the police reports and video showed us the case wasn't what we originally thought it was. When the prosecutor wanted my husband to go to jail and wouldn't change her mind, he went to the judge and convinced him to give of a better offer. Mr. Holmes never lied to us and always returned our calls. He cared about us and did everything that could be done given my husbands case.
