My ex and I were to divorce, supposedly amicably, by mediation in what was to be a fast and painless experience. The judge, however, deemed the agreement unfair to me so denied it. In a fit of rage, my ex decided to sic a high cost lawyer on me, paid for by his wealthy parents, to "put me in my plac...e."
