Monte was great. I contacted him regarding a letter I got in the mail stating that I needed to extend my ignition interlock contract for a year because of violations. He asked me to obtain my records from Smart Start which I sent to him. He reviewed them and gave me advice, without asking me to pa...y him a retainer. He was honest with ,e about what he could, and could not guarantee me should I decide to hire him. The DMV ended up dropping the case so I did not need his services in court. In all, he spent a couple of hours discussing my case with me, including 16 emails and 2 phone calls. Not once did he ask for money or push me to pay the retainer. His honesty as to the extent he could help me was a breath of fresh air. I have been through the courts for two DWAIs and have dealt with some lawyers who are pushy and all about the money. This is not one of them. I would not think twice to hire him should I need legal representation in the future.
