Awful Experience

I had a horrible experience with Ms. Chan and her firm. They provided me totally wrong information. They were absolutely ill-mannered and unprofessional. Also, they offered me a fee that was multiple times more than the average fee for my case. Fortunately, after several consultations, I realized tha...t I must not sign a contract with them. I am just happy that it did not happen. Not recommended at all. Disclaimer: This review was written based on my experience and is just my opinion about the firm with which I consulted.

Dear Mr. Iraji: Here at the Chan Law Firm customer service and legal accuracy are the tenets of our practice. We supplied you a two-hour consultation, on two separate cases, and an opportunity to follow-up. Unfortunately, it appeared that was insufficient. Thus, we fully refunded your consultation fee. We wish you and your family success in all your endeavors, and we regret the negative experience had by all. Thank you.

Totally dropped the ball

As a non-profit we approached Catherine to help a young board member from overseas come here. She seemed responsive on the first call we three had. But that was the last time she met any commitment she made to us. She would promise something in 2 weeks and not appear for 3 months. And only when we... contacted her. And have a reason for not having what she had promised. Finally, after months, she said she did not have the experience in what we needed and said she would sent other attorneys our way. She never did this either. The people who reviewed her must be family or friends or she has had some issue that has affected her ability to perform. I would suggest going elsewhere for aide and not wasting all the time we did. Maybe she can handle simply immigration problems, I don't know. But her performance for us was dismal.

I write to offer our sincere apology to this esteemed non-profit for any delays we had in communication. As a courtesy, after the consultation, we researched and provided answers to a complex legal question at no cost to the non-profit. We did not find an avenue for relief. At that time, I referred the non-profit to two immigration attorneys, including sending the attorneys my notes and research. I asked that they contact the non-profit for potential representation. I cannot speak to why or whether those attorneys may not have contacted the non-profit. For any inconvenience we may have caused we sincerely apologize. We thank you for sharing your thoughts and providing our team this opportunity to reflect on and to improve our customer service goals and our service standards.
