I met Karen when she represented several people in a minimum-wage/overtime case with a previous employer. Although the process took quite some time to resolve, Karen was honest, straightforward, and forthcoming throughout the process. But that's not the reason I'm taking time to write the review.... Towards the end of the mitigation, it became obvious that Karen and her firm were not going to be making much money (if any) on our case, even if we "won." That's when she proved that not all lawyers are snakes. Karen made recommendations to each of the members of our case based on what would be best for us, even at the cost of her own financial gain. That's incredible, it really is. I ended up walking away with a settlement check that was more than I had anticipated and a new found faith in at least one lawyer. I mean, all lawyers have passed the bar, but how many can you trust? I can submit Karen as one of that number. If you're reading this review, save yourself the time of reading more and just hire her.
