Do not use

Do not use him at all. Racked up bills like crazy even after I requested him to stop working on my case. I had over a 8000 dollar bill and nothing even was done. Would not truthfully tell me what was happening on the other side of the case. Tried to give me relationship advice and treated me as a... child though I am 30 years old. Yelled at me and hung up the phone on me. Whatever you do use someone else.

Do not use this attorney

I had interviewed several attorneys before going with Kevin. He seemed direct and forceful. I thought that would be beneficial to have for my Counsel. However, he was like that with me. He filed documents with the Court without letting me review them. A few times, when I asked to review a do...cument and asked for some changes, he got angry and said, "I'm not going to keep doing this." I felt bullied and intimidated. Since I was leaving a marriage partner who was bullying and intimidating, it took me a while to realize what was happening and that I didn't need to put up with this (especially if I'm paying for it!). Fortunately, I found a new attorney. The difference in my working relationship between Kevin and my new attorney was extreme. The new attorney was tough yet professional and did not send any correspondence to Court without my review and agreement. We have mutual respect and fought a good case in a very contentious divorce matter. This would have been impossible with Kevin.

Do not hire Kevin Massaro

I hired Kevin Massaro on a recommendation from one of the Harris Law firm's paralegals. During the inital consultation he came across as someone who was very confident in his family law skills. When we went to court, he told me to meet him 1 hour early in the courhouse cafeteria. Mr. Massaro never ...showed up in the cafetaria. Instead, he showed up just a few minutes prior to the hearing outside the courtroom. His clothes were rumpled, and his tie was loosened and he was unprofessional looking. During the hearing, I was shocked at how unprepared he was. He had no opening argument, and let the opposing counsel run all over him. I would not recommend him to anyone, even on the smallest case.

Dameged my case

Mr. Massaro seamed good in the initial consultation however when it came time to actually represent me he dropped the ball and ultimately damaged my case. He was not prepared and openly and in front of the judge and the opposing counsel criticized me very harshly. My opponent later said that what he ...did was inappropriate. Later he yelled at me for letting him be "surprised" in front of the judge, I told him on several occasions all the details both verbally and in writing. He even told me what I would agree to which in the end was exactly the opposite reason I hired him in the first place. He is not worth the money and not worth your time. His law firm The Harris Law Firm supposedly had a "good" reputation but they to seamed very sketchy to me. He did more damage to my case than good, actually he did not do any good. He lied in telling me that he knew both the opposing counsel and the judge very well, when we got into court neither of them recognized him, he had to explain at length to the opposing counsel how they knew each other and the judge had never even heard of him. His responses to me were short, vague and meaningless.
