I have been nothing but pleased with Joe and his entire staff. My first call into this office, Joe took my call directly and I could immediatly tell he was an attorney sincerely vested in his clients and thier cases. He has a level of humanity and integrity that is frankly hard to find in the field.... He agreed to take on, what I was repeatedly told by nearly everyone, was an "unwinnable" case agianst The Department of Human Sevices over a TRAILS finding. Joe and his staff were so incredibly responsive, efficient and thorough in their assistance and handling of my case. Having them on my side to handle all the legalize, I knew that I was in the best of legal hands possible in a part of the law way over most people's heads. For the first time in years, I could focus just on LIVING. Our TRAILS appeal, that won an Administrative Law Judges ruling in our favor back in 2018, was overturned CDHS themeslves (because they can do that!) and went all the way to th Colorado Court of Appeals where it was unaimously reversed again by all three judges, back to the ALJ initial decision. Our case was also a precident setting, published opinion! I could not have done it without Joe's hard working team! Thank you Joe!!

I started a divorce suit in June of 2006 with one of the so-called best divorce lawyers in Colorado. He was not up to the task of handling my wife's ex-husband/lawyer. Her ex/lawyer was obsessed with winning this case. I fired my first lawyer in November 2006 due to lack of performance. I hired Joe P...ickard the same day. After our case was closed, Joe and his firm kept in close contact with us wanting to know how things were going. When I got remarried and my husband wanted to adopt my kids, Joe and Kerry were there to walk us through each step of the process. They celebrated with us at the decision and final adoption! Joe Pickard is the founder of Pickard & Associates, P.C. During my divorce case, I worked with a different attorney from the law firm so I didn't interact with Joe on a regular basis (please see my review for Justin Ross). However for a few reasons, I wanted to submit this review. At the very ...beginning of my case, Joe took the time to come in and meet me personally. His warm handshake and sincere words helped calm the fears I had at the start of a very difficult divorce. He also worked closely with my attorney throughout the case, offering advice and guidance. My other feedback for Joe is about the wonderful team he has pulled together. Everyone, from the first person I met when walking through the door, to other attorneys, to the paralegals that supported my case, went out of their way to answer my questions and to take care of my needs. Simply put, they exceeded my expectations for customer care and attention. And I appreciated it.

I was unfamiliar with domestic relations law and the criminal allegations that sometime accompany such work. I needed help with a client thrown into those ares. I was referred to Mr. Pikard by another attorney. I did not know Mr. Pickard. When I called Mr. Pickard, not only did he take considerab...le time out of his schedule to help on several occasions, he provided me with spot-on analysis and citations that allowed me to handle my client's issues successfully. His demeanor and command of the law gave me the confidence I needed to do my job for my client. I would rely on his counsel any time and I would not hesitate to refer others to his firm.
