I Would Recommend this Firm

Being a firefighter I have learned to be able to adapt and overcome to any situation that comes my way. In December of 2010 came a situation that blind sided me and I was not prepared or ready to handle a crises on my home front. From the start I knew this was the firm for me. I called at least 1...0 attorney offices in the area. Most were short and wanted money up front and were very expensive. When I called the Evans Law Group I was given helpful information and faith that they would be there until the end. I would recommend this Law office to anyone of my family members or fire department friends. I not only hired a great attorney but have found a friend with Jimmy Evans.

Strategize, Prioritize, Execute & Succeed

Divorce was the most painful experience of my life, I had no idea what good or bad representation looked like. At times I had doubts, but when it mattered most, Jimmy delivered. He understood my priorities, built a strategy I could follow, and the result was exactly what I wanted with only minor conc...essions you would have to expect from the start. Jimmy isn’t a therapist and won’t coddle you, but if you’re ready to treat divorce as it's meant to be treated, strictly business, he’s a partner you can count on when it matters most.

Horrible experience

I hired James Evans and his firm to represent me in my case... After they got their retainer all they did was pretty much push paper... They went through an awful amount of money and nothing moved forward on my case for over 8 months.... After speaking to multiple other lawyers about my case (to find... a better lawyer) it became apparent that I was being used for as much money as they could get out of me without actually doing the work, many lawyers said they would have had the case done in 90 days and for not as much as I had spent. I have a threatening email from Mr. Evans regarding my sons case. Overall a HORRIBLE experience, their communication isn't good, I got a call that my meeting with him was canceled as I was on the way to meet him... DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!

What A Joke

Jimmy Evans talks a good game but in the end he is a joke. The support/legal staff at Evans and Peeks are a joke. They lost almost $12,000.00 of subpoenaed documents. They boxed up my original documents and sent them to opposing council (seriously). I fired Jimmy after 8 months and about $20,...000.00

I've searched my records, and I don't find any client with this name. Documents received in our office are immediately scanned and kept electronically. It is my policy to never keep originals, as they are always returned to the client.
