Painless Step Parent Adoption

When we initially started looking for a lawyer to begin the process of adoption my step son, I was having a hard time finding someone that sounded and seemed interested in taking our case. However, we decided to reach out to Jimmy and his team and they took us right in and started working right away.... Within 90 days, we had everything an order! We would get updates on the case and after it was all set and done, we even had a credit due to us at the end. Most will find a way to keep it all! Would 100 percent recommend!

Great Team

Jimmy and his entire team at EFLG were outstanding. I had a very complex case. During the free pre-retainer interview, Jimmy took the time to really consider it from multiple angles in order to come up with the best strategy. From start to finish, I know I got sound advice from the whole team which m...ade some of my tough decisions just a little bit easier. Near the end, when Jimmy was unable to attend the final hearing in my case, Shara was able to jump in without missing a beat and finish the case in our favor. EFLG was worth every penny.

excellent service

Mr Evans met with me and discussed my case throughly. After taking down my information, he suggested several options. After we decided on a course of action, he or his staff, kept me apprised of the situation. The case changed somewhat from one direction to another but I was always notified and infor...med of all my options. While divorce is a painful process, having the Evans law firm onmy side made me believe the outcome would be as we discussed.

Knowledgable, Professional, and Ethical

Jimmy has an encyclopedic knowledge of the law based, extensive experience with a wide range of cases, and as a result is someone I could completely trust to know what he was doing. He was always willing to explain why certain issues that were under dispute were/were not likely to be upheld by a jud...ge and gave me a very honest sense of what to expect before a judge, with respect to anything I asked him. He took the time to talk to me and answer questions, and was an ethical advocate who was clearly seeking the best outcome for the children. Rarely do I post reviews, but I chose him based on ones I read by people equally unfamiliar and scared by family law, divorce, and custody as I was; and he was a gem in guiding us through a difficult time. I'm so grateful to have found him, and recommend him as one of the most ethical and professional people I've ever worked with.
