Outstanding attorney

I hired Patricia to represent me after another attorney recommended she was better suited for my case because of her experience. I have four degrees and none of them are in law, so quite a bit of communication was required on her part to ensure I was comfortable with the legal language we had to wor...k through. Patricia is extremely detail-oriented and made sure the best interest of my children was the priority.

Very caring and professional.

Ms. Finch has gone above and beyond for me and my son. She has been flexible, persistent, and has stood up for me and my sons best interests. Overall a great experience.

A waste of time and money

In my opionion She made promises that she could not keep. $20000 down the drain! She did not keep us informed of the details of the case. Insisted that the child see his mother even though it was detrimental to his mental and physiological well-being. She did not appear to be well informed or organi...zed. She was difficult to get a hold of and wasted a lot of time. I feel there was more she could have done to protect the child. I do not think she had his best interests at heart.

I know exactly who this is and I am so sorry that they feel this way. I got custody of a child for great grandparents which is a rare occurrence in the family law arena. They had standing issues regarding whether they even could file a case. This case was highly disputed and contentious from the beginning. One contested hearing alone lasted into the evening and required more than 8 hours of my time. Unfortunately, for these clients, when a mother begins to do better the court gives her an opportunity to redeem herself. I am not ashamed of the work I did on this extremely difficult and contentious case. I am sorry that the client did not like the court's ruling but they were there with me every step of the way and I deny that they did not know what was happening in the case. I can be difficult to get in touch with because I litigate a lot and that means I am in court nearly every day. However, each client is given a card with my email address and cell phone number. I wish these people the very best. They are in a bad situation and trying to protect their great grandchild. I am proud that I gave them the initial opportunity to do that by litigating them into the position of being recognized by the court to even file pleadings and then winning them temporary custody of their great grandchild at their advanced ages. They are in my prayers as is their great grandchild that the result they seek is the one that is in the best interest of the child.

Best Family lawyer in South Texas

Patricia Finch was able to accomplish in 4 months what 8 previous lawyers were not able to in 9 years-get justice for my children. She is professional, knowledgeable and relentlessly pursued the best interests of my children. I interviewed lawyers from San Antonio to Austin and nobody but Patrici...a was brave enough to take on the challenge of my extremely contentious, complicated case. She was able to quickly assess the mistakes that previously had been made, put together an aggressive strategy and get the job done. Her staff was wonderful, including Elaine, Trisha and others working together as a great team. She promised to be the last lawyer I would need and not stop until my children were heard-Patricia Finch kept her promise.

Great Advocate For Children

Patricia Finch is a wonderful person and true friend. She has done wonders for my family.
