"I hired Daniel Ciment and Ciment Law Firm to represent me in a debt defense case (Cause No. JI-CV-25-012958) in Travis County. I paid the legal fees in full, trusting that my case was being handled professionally. However, the firm failed to appear at the scheduled hearing on February 25, 2026, an...d did not file the necessary responses. As a direct result of their negligence, a Default Judgment was entered against me for over $4,000. Communication has been non-existent, and they have failed to protect my legal interests despite being paid to do so. I am now facing a legal crisis that could have been avoided. I do not recommend this firm if you are looking for reliable legal defense."

I hired this attorney because I was being sued for about $900. I knew the debt was not mine and hired him to represent me. Yeah, I know it would have cost about the same to pay the debt collector, but I knew it was not my debt and decided to fight it. The plaintiff won BECAUSE MY LAWYER NEVER SHOWED ...UP TO COURT. He just took my money and did literally nothing.

Paid him $900. to work on a debt for me , i had to call and speak to someone who answered the phone for him on my matter, never received the judgement on my case from his office until i received a payment plan from the collectors Lawyer.He does however communicate about his other services he offers ...at an additional cost to his clients.Save your money and go elsewhere or negotiate with the collectors yourself.
