Estate planning

I felt great comfort leaving Jim's office knowing that my estate planning was completed. He was very professional and knowledgeable in both the estate planning and the Texas laws pertaining to it.

Super Lawyer

I am an titled Attorney Emeritus with the State Bar of Texas. I have been licensed since 1982 and I go to Jim Dossey. That ought to tell you something. Go to the lawyer that the lawyers use.

Excellent counsel

Mr. Dossey took the time to explain my legal issues in a manner which enabled me to make informed decisions concerning my estate. Fees were carefully explained and within reason. I was impressed with his common sense manner of counsel.

A lawyer that can be trusted!

Three family members went to Mr. Dossey’s office with a problem that was entwined and needed to be untangled. We needed the knowledge of a CPA and Lawyer to help us sort out the best way to handle our situation. Without hesitation Mr. Dossey “listened” and he gave feedback that was beneficial, sub...stantive and informative. When we left and ask him to prepare the paperwork he completed a draft in short order and we gave feedback on the draft. Again, he communicated with us immediately and carried through on concerns that were voiced about his proposal. When we met again to sign the papers he went over everything, met and doubled down on a concern I had with stronger language and answered all questions. His office filed all paper work immediately and mailed all copies necessary to us. All three family members walked away knowing that if we ever needed something in the future, we will trust Mr. Dossey to handle it. He is knowledgeable, resolved our problem, professional, listens, communicates with you and takes care of business in an expeditious manner. Mr. Dossey and his staff are absolutely at the top of their game.
