My name is Stephen Baltz and I hired Mr. Plotts on July 1,2013 to defend my friend Ana who has permanent residence status here on a felony conviction that they were going to deport her for. The immigration court had previously tried to deport her a year previously for other charges back when she was ...18. She is now 30 and the lawyer we used took the easy way out so there was no way to obtain the one time consideration the government offers as it was already used. This was going to be a very hard case to win and Brian was upfront with us about that fact and we asked him if he would try to help us and he agreed. Well we did lose the case and Brian asked if we would like to appeal the decision even though the chances were slim and we said yes. He filed the appeal and also 6 months into it asked for an extension to submit additional facts to the appeals board do to changes in immigration law that had taken place. Brian worked tirelessly on this case and on July 1 of this year a miracle occurred not only did he win the appeal the appeals board did not recommend it back to the immigration judge for retrial they ordered her release with no further proceedings against her which is almost unheard of and she was released. Brian was well worth everything he charged and in my opinion he and his firm deserved a lot more. If it was not for his knowledge and the tireless effort that he and all the members at his firm put in I am sure Ana would have been deported. Brian and the staff at his firm went way above and beyond what anyone would have expected to help us and I totally recommend to anyone that needs help with immigration use him they will not be disappointed in his knowledge and vigor he brings to their defense. He is well worth the price he charges and then some.
