First of all, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN A DWI POSITION it is no fun going through the process, as bad as military basic training and you have heard the saying "DWI you cannot afford it" they mean it. Now if you are charged with a DWI get experienced legal help. Doug Murphy is expensive, but worth every ...penny. I had a recent DWI and was in court several times before my case was settled. I sat through hours of watching a judge handing out DWI sentences that were all across the board depending on the circumstances including defense council. As I watched these sentences being awarded by the judge, I knew my circumstances and they were bad, and I really thought I was going to be hit hard by the process at best. When Mr. Murphy presented me with a settlement offered by the state, I was elated. Obviously Mr. Murphy was highly involved if not responsible for this settlement. Once again DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE, but if you do and are a dumb ass like I was, make sure you go to court with a Professional and there is none better than Doug Murphy!
