Dwi dismissed

the knowledge alone of all the Dwi laws kept me impressed and feeling comfortable. even when they told me my options and said they wanted to fight and not settle. they made sure I knew all options and never pressured or rushed any decisions from me. I hope no one has to go through what I did, but if ...you do you want Johnson Johnson and Baer in your corner. Thanks for everything Dane

Dane Johnson is the lawyer you want.

Johnson, Johnson and Baer did an amazing and professional job with my case. They worked diligently for over a year and overcame numerous obstacles the courts presented. From the day they took my case they had a plan on how to achieve our goal of complete dismissal and aggressively executed it. Fac...ing legal trouble can be a stressful and difficult time in your life, however, with the legal representation of Johnson, Johnson and Baer you can rest assured you will get the best outcome possible for your case. Arrested for Felony Assault, result DISMISSED.

Did NOTHING for my money.

I hired Dane Johnson of Johnson and Johnson Law Firm in April of '07. From the start, I was assured that he would investigate all aspects of my case. After he got a bulk of my money, I repeatedly asked him to investigate aspects of my case that he said he would. He said he would. He never investigate...d hospital records that I asked him to, and never interviewed any witnesses (save one) who's contact information I gave him. He then worked out a plea with the DA, and told me that this was "a great deal". The state didn't have strong evidence in my case, because all they had was questionable at best. So, I was pressured into taking a plea bargain - admitting guilt to an offense I was not guilty of. He had all my money, and nothing to lose. It was not his life on the line, and he did little to protect mine - after paying him $15,000. Yes - $15,000. I can only hope that people read this review and move on to another attorney.

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, this is all too typical of what is sometimes referred to as "buyers remorse." Sometimes in this profession we see clients that accept a deal that is exactly what they want at the time, but later they seem to regret the choice that they made. Often times in these situations - as is the case here, the lawyer becomes the target of the blame. The client in this case chose to plead guilty to a recduced charge of a misdemeanor DWI instead of going to trial on felony intoxication assault charges. He received 15 months probation on the refiled misdemeanor DWI charge and the intoxication assault charge was dismissed. Let's make no mistake about it, the client was the one that made the decision to plead to the reduced charge. Of course we investigated the facts of the case, researched the law in the case and consulted with client extensively prior to him making the desicion to plead guilty to the reduced misdemeanor charge. At the time of the plea, client was ecstatic the result and with his decision to plead guilty and receive probation to recuce the risk of a jury trial that could have sent him to prison for up to 10 years. The claim that the state did not have strong evidence is simply not true. After client rear-ended a big rig tractor, client and his friend were both life-flighted to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The hospital (not the police officers) took client's blood for medical purposes that showed his blood alcohol concentration was over twice the legal limit. Taking into consideration all of the facts of the case, I understood client's decision to enter his plea in a misdemeanor court.

Dane is the mayne

Client review: Dane is a stand up guy as well as an excellent lawyer. He will fight for you no matter the odds against you. He will find a way to turn it around. I couldnt thank him enough for what he did for me and how he did it. He put forth so much effort as if my case was the only one he had. He ...never lied to me, he was always honest. I was worried but seeing him fearless in the courtroom helped me get through it all. My case was found NOT Guilty

For professional and, most importantly, effective attorneys this firm is your answer

I want to thank Dane, Alan, and all of the attorneys at Johnson, Johnson, & Baer. They helped me get through an extremely frustrating and scary period in my life. They were thorough and meticulous in exploring any, and every, avenue available which ultimately led to my dismissal. I can't stress enoug...h how responsive, helpful, and most of all, effective they were with my case. I would recommend, without hesitation, Johnson, Johnson, & Baer to any person who is faced with an ordeal such as a DWI.
