My son was facing a 5 year sentence for a drug possession. He has some health problems and didn't think he would make it with the sentence. I hired Abe as my son requested him. What I found was an attorney who frustrated me at times because I did not get much feedback good or bad. I was scared and visited him many times sometimes very emotional and was pacified until the next time. Yet, my son believed in his capabilities and felt he ...would do his job in the long run. I requested bond to be lowered on several occasions and he always told me he was taking care of it. All I can say is that I'm extremely grateful and lucky to have had Daniel Collins as my appointed lawyer. I was booked on bogus hearsay and charged with aggravated assault. I have diabetes and terrible neuropathy pain in my legs. I went from having my medication to going completely cold turkey locke...d up in jail. I tried to convince my family to make my reasonable bond, but nobody did. I can't really put into words how bad my legs hurt, but sitting in jail was not an option. The only person who seemed to care about me was my lawyer mr. Collins. He always took my calls when it would have been just as easy to say he wasn't in the office. He actually listened to what i had to say. He came to see me in person, and never seemed impatient. I got my case taken care of, and now I'm back out.
