Bad Hiring Decision

I made the decision to hire Sisemore Law Firm in late April 2020 based on a performance-based referral for Justin Sisemore personally. I am devastated and heartbroken to say that it ended up being a really bad decision for myself and my baby boy. My ex-fiancé and I separated in April 2020. Due t...o a rough separation and a lot of hostility, I hired Justin Sisemore to protect myself and my new born baby. I was afraid that my ex could take the baby from me at any point so I needed temporary orders set immediately. I also needed child support to be ordered as I was not working due to my newborn and COVID had just started. I had very limited resources and was able to come up with the funds to pay the retainer fee. A couple of months later, I was kept growing anxious as things were being delayed, counsel kept believing the opposing side instead of me, temporary orders were not set (and my ex kept reminding me that he could take the baby at any point), it was hard to communicate with the counsel as they were working from home and did not have direct numbers to reach them and Justin Sisemore had issued my case to an associate attorney. The associate attorney’s admin rarely had answers and the associate attorney was always busy. All in all, $17,000 later, temporary orders were just being finalized. We had not even got to mediation or scheduling the final trial. Again, this is not a divorce case. I simply needed a custody schedule worked out and child support established. After receiving a bill(for $4,200 plus and an additional request for $1,500 for trust account funding) 3 weeks after I had just payed an additional $3,500(which I thought would get us through the temporary hearing), I withdrew from Sisemore Law Firm Services as I was getting more in debt than being helped with the extremely high and unreasonable costs of Sisemore Law Firm. Almost 5 Months after hiring Sisemore Law Firm, my bill is $17K and the only thing accomplished was getting through the temporary hearing which established custody schedule and child support for the next 3 months. Again, my ex and I were not married so formal divorce complications did not exist. Now, I need assistance to continue the process but have completely run out of financial resources. I thought being left by the man whom I’ve loved for years with a newborn baby was the worst thing but it turns out that.. Being left by the partner that I loved for years with a newborn baby and now, $17,000 in attorney fees with no permanent results, and in much financial distress is much worse. I do not wish this upon any single mama(or dad).

Private family matter

Justin and his staff in the office were very professional in the handling of my case. I'm specificially happy about how he and his staff treated the other participant in the case, that was a big factor in my case. Robin was very quick to get me the answers I needed if Justin or Sam were not reachable.... Thank you Sizemore Law Firm!!-

WOW!!

Justin Sisemore is an amazing and gifted attorney. He is doing what he was born to do. He just took me through a very difficult divorce with an extremely contentious ex husband. During the year and a half leading up to the final trial there were many situations that required Justin to be prepa...red and ready to fight for me. The opposing council was an arrogant and pompous attorney that Justin had no problem staying ahead of. Watching him battle against this man was in itself gratifying as I was able to see a huge display of his skill level and professionalism. I was so proud of him and so were my friends and family who came to support me. I am an older lady and though no one wants or plans to have divorce happen in their lives, for someone my age it is especially scary. Prior to the final trial Justin prepared me as my own son would have by being as tough with me as he could be. I sometimes thought I wouldn't get through it but as it turned out I was prepared, which was always his main goal. There was a pre-nuptial agreement and the opposing council was as ferocious and obnoxious as they come but Justin's way of handling him was a joy to experience. Justin is a fighter but in a good way. He is smart and savvy with a great deal of passion, and I am so glad he was not the attorney working for my ex husband! He was an answer to prayer. He fought for me to keep my home and got me a decent amount of spousal maintenance, which from my understanding is challenging to get in the state of Texas. If you want a winner and someone who is on top of his game when it counts the most then you want Justin. His firm was always courteous and Pam Wilder worked amazingly well along side him in the courtroom. They balance each other out with different strengths. I highly recommend the Sisemore Law Firm to anyone hoping to find the best. You will be in great hands!

Donna, I make it a habit to read every client review and reflect on how we can be better. I know I sometimes made you laugh, sometimes made you cry, sometimes made you worry, and sometimes gave you confidence; but it was you all along who was strong, who planned, who listened, and who succeeded. We truly love clients like you. You actually help motivate me and my team to be the best so we thank you. Very truly yours, Justin J. Sisemore

My Grandparent Rights

I met Justin in February of 2012. I had looked him up in the YP and I knew God had sent me to him. The first meeting was just to see if he thought we had a case and 2 weeks later we felt he was our only hope of winning visitation with our then 12 year old twin grandsons. He was always very honest ...from the beginning, sometimes he hit nerves that I didn't like, but after he explained the "why" it was what he was doing. Giving me all options on things I either needed to let go or to do for the good of my case. There was a lot of crying and there was challenges to learn. Our first victory was supervised visits at the mothers house once every other week to see them for three hours. That ended on June 9, 2012. I ask the mother can we continue this arrangement or do we go to our lawyers. The boys became up set and the mother and I told them no it was fine and I left knowing that would be the last time I would see them until we took it to court and the judge made his decision. I could not talk to them on the phone, I couldn't go to school activities and that Christmas I drove by their house only to see a deserted house. It took me several months to discover she had bought a house in the same area but no change of address to our lawyer. After several no shows and mail being returned undeliverable in June of 2013 we found out she had picked up her kids and moved. She changed her email, phone numbers, the boys phones and disappeared , she disguised herself as several different names and not only her but the boys. We proved that her whole family helped her disappear to myself. Justin didn't give up, he worked and finally she was ordered to show up or accept the obvious. That day in court, June of this year, he won what we had been fighting for, just to see our boys who are now 15. I praise God for sending us to Justin's office. I highly recommend his services and he is still working with me if we ever need his services again. I believe he should get recognition for winning this case and so much more. I never knew that Texas did not have any grand parent rights and Justin warned us from the beginning. He knew my son, the twins father, had passed away Janurary 14, 2012 due to diabetes and he was the most professional lawyer and yet he was hard where he needed to be and comforting at the same time. My oldest son and I on first impression, loved the fact that he was so confident and could tell he was a fighter for justice and his clients. He is good and I can't say enough good things about him. He has become my families HERO, and I will always appreciate the job he did for us. Thank you, Barbara

BEST FREAKING ATTORNEY ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH

My title says it all. This man will fight to the bitter end to get the results you want. My son was going through a bitter divorce/custody battle. Justin not only got full, sole custody of my son's daughter, but the ex has to pay child support, only has limited, supervised visits under the supervisio...n of the family court, and did so with the ferociousness necessary of a top rated attorney. He is worth every penny to get the results you want.
