I hired Bret from out of State because I do not live in Texas. I was extremely nervous because I had already hired two other attorneys for the same case and they both failed to get the job done. However, Bret put 100% into my case from the very beginning. He not only got done what the other two lawye...rs failed to do but he got an even better result for me in the end. I don't anticipate I will have anymore legal trouble in Texas but I definitely recommend Bret for anyone who does. He was absolutely a pleasure to work with and never let me down. He was always prompt about returning my calls and made sure he always kept me informed about the case. When my son got himself in a legal issue, AGAIN, and based on what they charged him with, I was almost sure that he will spend a few years in prison if not more. How many attorneys do that? The best part of it, he picks up the call most of the time if not will return my calls the same day. If and when he needed to call me to update me the case, he even calls me outside business hours at times on week ends. I normally do not write reviews except for complaining on products of services that that did not meet my expectations. But in this case I must share my great experience with Mr. Schmidt to help others seeking legal representation in the hope to help them get the right attoreny as I did. I don't have enough words to describe how great my experience with Mr Schmidt was. He worked very hard to make sure my son's case gets a winning results. I could not have asked for better services. From the moment I first called him until the case was over. What I thought would end up with 4 to 5 years in prison at best or even worst ended up to a 6 month drug rehab program giving my son a second chance in life. Thank you Mr. Schmidt!!!!!
