All of the positive reviews on this site are not exaggerations. Joe was exceptional in every way--he's what you think of when you imagine the ideal defense attorney (caring, responsive, highly involved, and adept at handling the area's criminal justice system). When I was arrested, I asked the bail... bondsman to recommend some attorneys. He said Joe was the "best in the area," and my experience proved that. I ended up receiving a lighter probation sentence than my friend who was arrested for the same crime and used a different attorney. Last month when I applied for non-disclosure of my criminal record (basically, expungement), Joe told me that due to a particular technicality, the law did not support my case. However, he skillfully argued on my behalf and was able to obtain a favorable ruling from the judge, despite the technicalities of the case. From what I observed, Joe has an excellent rapport with the various local officials here (attorneys, judges, etc.) and is able to navigate through the justice system with great skill and insight. I don't know if he charges more than other attorneys in the area, but if he does, I can attest to the fact that he's worth it.
