David was a God-send

I was stopped for DWI in Collin County. Initial charge was that I changed lanes without signalling - which was true - and that I was swerving in the lane - which was false (as even the videos showed later). It was a Saturday night and the cops were obviously looking for drunk drivers (like they shoul...d). It was the last few days of the month - I do not know if this was a factor. I hired one lawyer for handling the case, but in a couple of weeks, discovered that he/his firm was very shoddy in its practices. They did not file proper ALR hearing request, but upon my follow-up on this, pretended that they did - by showing me what was obviously to me a fake document. My *guess* is that they fooled a lot of clients in this manner. Sad to see that there are unethical lawyers like this. I searched online, found David Burrows and interviewed him, among others. Right off the bat, I could make out that David was honest and ethical, would fight for his client and not just try to make money of the case and not care what happened to his client. I decided to hire him as my lawyer. It was the best thing I did in this whole ordeal. David was, simply put, awesome from beginning to end. Whenever I met with him, it was more like meeting with a friend rather than with a lawyer. I always felt like he would do the maximum he can to win the case. David advised me on how to get a copy of my records from the police department (all the videos etc.) and reviewed them multiple times while we were waiting for the blood test police report to come through. He also helped me get an ODL (Occupational Driver's License) so I could continue driving for work for the next six months. My blood test results had came in below the threshold of 0.08, but the county decided to file a DWI case anyway (interesting that they can do that even when it is below the legal limit.) Through the following months, David met with me many times and reviewed the case. He advised me that getting a blood re-test might be helpful, and I decided to opt for that. It was good advice - the results came in 16% lower than the previous and helped cement my case. When the case came up for pre-trial he discussed with me the options of going for a judge-trial or a jury-based trial. I let him be the judge on that decision as I had no prior experience in this matter. We went with the judge trial and it took may be 15-20 minutes for the judge to dismiss the case. David was a god-send as far as I am concerned. I had never known him before this case but I would unhesitatingly refer him to others.

Great Lawyer

In May 2017, I was sleep driving (DWI) at 2 am, totaled my SUV and was arrested at hospital. I contacted Mr. Burrows on Monday and made an appointment to review my case. I told him I didn't drink and don't remember anything from the night of the accident but it was sleeping pill induced. He explained... in Texas it didn't matter if it was prescription medicine, illegal or OTC if you are under the influence you will be charged with a DWI. My case took a year and two months, one problem was they had to send my blood to Austin to be tested. Month after month, I would look up my case on the website, then call Mr. Burrows to see why it hasn't been updated or why the court appts would be postponed another month. He was always honest, reassuring and answered all my questions. Finally, this month I had my day in court, being able to plea to lesser charge. He walked me through all of the processes of court making sure I understood everything. I am gratefully blessed to have found Mr. Burrows to help me.

David Saved My Career. DWI Dismissed.

I was pulled over in Dallas after having a few drinks with friends in March of 2017. I refused the breathalyzer and was taken to jail. My blood was drawn and my BAC was .09. Embarrassed and confused after a night in jail, I realized that I needed legal representation. I do finance for car dealerships... and you must have a clean driving record in this line of work. Countless attorneys solicited my business through the mail and I was not sure who to call or trust. Mr. Burrows was recommended to me by a family friend. He met with me and was very honest about his services and the possibilities of my case. He gathered all of the videos and evidence and was able to find a discrepancy in my blood results. The prosecutor agreed to reduce my charge from a DWI to Obstruction of a Highway. This lesser charge can also be sealed from my record in a few years. I feel very blessed and thankful for David's prowess and knowledge. His pricing is fair and he was always available to talk about my case. I can tell that he is a genuine man that cares about his clients. He is very well known and connected with the Dallas County court system and his legal peers as well. If you need help with a DWI do not hesitate to call him. He will fight for you the best he can.

Don't pass on the opportunity representation by David Burrows!

I was arrested for a DWI in July of 2017. After much researching and talking to several lawyers I decided on David Burrows. He was very honest and up front through the process and was not the type to make outrageous claims. He looked through all the facts of my case and went through the videos. He... was able to determine the Officer's reason for approaching my vehicle as a Community Welfare check was unlawful because I was pulling away when they demanded I stop. Mr Burrows also subpoenaed County Records Clerk and the Officer on his statements of an area of high criminal activity. David Burrows exposed the Officer as a liar and poked so many holes in their initial stop that my case was dismissed by the judge before going to trial. I would not count on that for every case, but mine had some mitigating circumstances that lent itself to a dismissal before going to trial. Regardless of your situation he will fight to ensure you get the best outcome possible. Mr. Burrows is thorough, well versed in the law and very accessible. He returned texts quickly and either answered immediately or called back in a short amount of time. He also checked in with me during the process to let me know of any progress or changes with the status. I am convinced he is the best in the area!

Not guilty verdict!

Mr. Burrows was phenomenal. He helped me understand the whole process and answered any questions I had. I felt truly confident with having him by my side to represent me in court. I had never been to court before and I was nervous. He helped me calm my nerves. I went to trial with an alleged DWI ch...arge with a BAC of .16 and I was found not guilty by a jury of my peers. He is truly knowledgeable with DWI cases and how to work with them and knows what to look for. Thank you so much David!
