A week before Thanksgiving in 2015, I was crossing the street in McKinney when I was hit by an SUV. I was sent to the hospital by EMTs; xrays were taken that indicated no broken bones so I was sent home. After a couple of weeks I realized things weren’t right. After rehab and further treatment they tried to settle my case for me, but the insurance company’s offer wasn’t where it needed to be. We filed suit and the case settled without a trial having to happen. In fact, I didn’t even have to do the deposition. The settlement they achieved in my case was better than anyone of us had thought. I sincerely hope I never have another have another personal injury claim; but if I do, I will go back to these guys.

This is the best law firm around. I was injured in a car wreck caused by another driver who made a very poor choice. Jason Burress spent a lot of time with me in our first meeting and was really aggressive on my behalf. I liked the fact that I got to deal with him personally quite a bit, and his s...taff is really competent. Jason personally went to the accident scene and found evidence to help my case. He prepared a great demand package to try to avoid a lawsuit, but the insurance company only offered about $13,000. In fact, the insurance company even tried to blame me! We had to file suit and there were 2 law firms on the other side. I am so pleased with the way Jason prepared me for my deposition and then for court. Right before trial, the insurance company settled for $100,000. I still wish the wreck wouldn’t have happened and I wish their insurance company would have been fair to begin with. Jason, Scott and their legal team are straight shooters. Beyond the professional excellence was the personal attention to my needs and timely updates on the progress of my case provided by Jason Burress. This went a long way to reducing the stress of being involved in a traumatic event.
