Effective lawyer

Mr. Starr was very responsive and informed me of the situation, consequences and how he was going to proceed. I felt he was very effective. I compared notes with other people in my situation and I realized that I had a very qualifed and responsive attorney.

Good Lawyer.

Kent Starr was very quick to respond to any of my questions. He was easily approachable and direct. I really appreciated that he was respectful and not condescending, like other lawyers I've talked to. He also gives his honest recommendation on whether or not to try your case based on the evidence ag...ainst you.

Dismissive, and not reliable, Bait and Switch

I hired Kent to handle my DWI case. Initially I was very impressed with him. But after the first consult, he basically ignorned me and my case, and give it to one of his assistants. He never returned my calls, but happily pocketed my retainer. The case, in the end, was ruled against me. Do not... trust this guy.

Incompetent and unprofessional

I had paid Mr. Kent to represent me on a case. However, the case was never filed. After I found out it had not been filed I went to go see Mr. Kent. He was not aware that my case had been dismissed and had performed no action or service on my behalf. When I asked for my money back he immediately insi...sted that it was indeed him who had talked to the district attorney to get my case dismissed. However, just a few minutes prior he had said he had no idea about the case being dismissed. He refused to refund my money and told me to leave his office and "do something about it"

Having a case dismissed is the BEST result any Client can desire. After hiring an attorney and by and through discussions with your attorney and the District Attorney for the State of Texas the case is dismissed, it is a shame that a person would NOT be satisfied with those results! I have NEVER had a Client not satisfied with a dismissal; that is one thousand times better than probation and/or the PRISON TIME in the penitentiary. Every Client and any attorney in the State of Texas would be ecstatic if their Felony was dismissed. This was the Best result that any Client could ever expect.
