I hired ben abbot 2016..for a accident. I then contacted the law firm about 6 months later to get a update..the lawyer told me they needed medical Bill's and asked me to get them.. because they would charge her so I went to Baylor Scott white.and got a copy..mailed them to the lawyer..about 6 months... later I called..the lawyer said she needed the records from United Methodist..and again asked me to get them so I did..I took them to ben Abbots office in Garland..I again waited 6 months then called for a update..I find out another lawyer was handling my case...so I get a call about a year later...THATS 2 YEARS..TO FIND OUT THEY WERE ON THE WAY TO FILE WITH THE COURTS BECAUSE THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS IS ABOUT UP...NOW 3 ALMOST 3 YEARS LATER..I FIND ANOTHER LAWYER IS HANDLING MY CASE AND HAS NEVER WENT TO TALK TO KNOW ONE IN PERSON..NOR HAVE THE SUBPOENA ANY MAINTENANCE RECORDS..NOR TALKED TO ANY HOME OWNERS..THE QUESTION IS....DO THEY HAVE MY BEST INTEREST AT HART??? I TRULY DO NOT BELIEVE SO...I HAVE BEEN LIED TO FROM DAY ONE...would I recommend this to anyone...as I tell my friends who ask if I know a good lawyer...I ALWAYS SAY NO....PEOPLE READ THE REVIEWS...ASK YOURSELF CAN THIS HAPPEN TO ME IF I HIRE BEN ABBOT....GOOD POSSIBILITY...WE WILL SEE WHERE THIS GOES ON MY CASE....BUT DO YOU WANT TO BE LIED TOO AND PASSED AROUND...AND TOLD TO GO GET YOUR OWN MEDICAL RECORDS

They handled the case pretty well, i just wish the communication was better. They are a busy office and i found myself having to call them back frequently. I also had to bring quite a bit of my own paperwork to their office. Those are the only struggles i witnessed. On the good side, the attitude was... wonderful! The staff was very professional and friendly, and I loved that. Once I was able to reach them, they were always helpful and able to explain where my case was at. I loved that about this firm. I would definitely come back! I have had experiences with another personal injury law firm that i would never recommend, but i would definitely recommend Ben abbott.

Statute of limitations deadline on my case was 12/1/16, Mr. Abbott contacted me on 11/30/16 - he was able to file my auto personal injury lawsuit in District Court by the next day and saved me from losing out entirely on an injury claim settlement that was rejected by opposing insurance company.
