I am blessed to have found the law firm of Robert S. Widner
First and foremost I must say how thankful and blessed I am to have the law firm of Robert S. Widner represent me in my highly contested divorce.
The law firm of Robert S. Widner was the fourth and thankfully the final law firm to repr...esent me in my divorce.
My first lawyer was an x-judge and a female, in my mind this was a winner. I was soooooo wrong. After the initial retainer of $5000 she drew up TRO (Temporary Orders). My x-wife got to stay in the house and I paid the mortgage and all utilities, she was awarded my truck and I was ordered to make the monthly payment, she was awarded child support, I was ordered to pay her attorney fees. I began to wonder whose side my x-judge, female attorney was on. And to add insult to injury my x-judge, female attorney informed me that I needed to give her another $1500 because my retainer was running low. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when my x-wife’s attorney informed me that I was billed by my x-judge, female attorney for a filing that he did and not her. My x-judge, female attorney said that her paralegal accidentally charged me $500 for the time and filing. I said GOODBYE to my x-judge, female attorney.
My second attorney was a good guy, but he had a heavy accent. He represented me twice in court with some success. It is not good when the judge constantly tells your attorney to repeat something because he didn’t understand what my attorney was trying to say because of his accent. I said GOODBYE to second attorney.
I had two brief phone calls with my third attorney before going to his office to pay my retainer. When I met my third attorney face to face at his office, it was cluttered with boxes and stacks of paperwork everywhere. My third attorney had to move stacks of paper off of a chair for me to sit down. My third attorney informed me that he was very busy working a high profile case. I knew then that my divorce would not get the attention it deserved. I said GOODBYE to third attorney.
I did a Google search for divorce lawyers in Dallas and came across the law firm of Robert S. Widner’s website. The pay structure of a flat fee per month was ideal and for it to be a Faith-Based Positive Approach law firm answered my prayers. Robert said on his website “You can focus on your purpose, or you can focus on your problems. You have a choice, to be driven by guilt, anger or bitterness, or you can be driven by purpose.”
I met Robert at his law firm and we talked about my divorce and next steps. Robert’s concern about my physical and mental well being told me that I was in the right place. Robert’s compassion for my children and their long term happiness helped me realize the importance of a GOOD lawyer. Jeff Johnson became my lead attorney. Jeff’s attention to detail and client centric approach reinforced the core values of the law firm of Robert S. Widner. I did get the house and I no longer pay her bills. I am a very satisfied client and I am blessed to have found the law firm of Robert S. Widner. Thank you Robert and Jeff for your time, attention and commitment to me as a client.
