I hired this attorney and paid a retainer to handle my case. Over a year, there was very little progress and almost no communication, despite my repeated attempts to get updates. When I did hear from her, she said she was busy working on other cases “day and night,” which was given as the reason for ...not getting back to me. The situation became extremely stressful when she withdrew from my case the day before a scheduled court date, leaving me scrambling at the last minute. My case is still pending, and I am still waiting for the return of unused retainer funds. I am currently filing a grievance with the State Bar and documenting all events. I strongly recommend anyone considering this attorney to carefully review communication, availability, and fee policies before hiring.

On Thursday, Oct 23rd, I was contacted by a non-attorney representative from The Crowder Law Firm asking if I would remove my negative review. I made it clear there was no reason to do so until my matter is resolved. This shows the firm is more concerned with protecting their online reputation than a...ddressing client issues. I was also “promised” (for the second time) that I would receive a call from Mrs. Crowder the next morning, Oct 24th. That call never came. At this point, I am out $10,000 and left without legal representation for my next court appearance. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Bar and will continue pursuing this matter. Clients deserve accountability, not silence and empty promises.
