Requested consultation but never heard from them again :(

I requested a consultation from Christina and received a response the next day that she'd have her assistant contact me. After a week passed and having not heard from her assistant, I wrote her again. A week passed again, and I did not receive a reply. I'm not sure what happened or why they ignore...d me, but this is pretty poor customer service.

Lara, First, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. At our Firm, we strive for exceptional client satisfaction and I am never pleased to receive this type of feedback. By way of explanation, during the Holiday season most law firms and Courts are closed. Therefore, our team takes advantage of this season to spend time with our loved ones. This may cause delay in reaching out to potential clients. However, I believe that this “rejuvenation period” is imperative to ensure our best performance throughout the year. I can assure you that this behavior is the exception, and not the rule. I’m presently out of the country vacationing with my family. However, when I return, I will be happy to visit with you at your convenience. Please feel free to contact our offices at (432) 335-9000 or (214) 513-0125. Our team has been apprised of this situation and is awaiting your call. Additionally, Ms. Lopez, a senior paralegal will be calling you today.

Think twice about hiring this law firm.

Hiring Christina Jimenez was the biggest mistake I made regarding my case. I should have known from the beginning that her intentions were not honorable. She did not even have the professionalism or descency to appear in person for the consultation. She made empty promises about what she was going to... do. Instead of her being my lawyer, she sent her lacky lawyer at the last minute and had her asstistants do all the work. Not even the lacky lawyer showed up in person. All web cam from home. I was charged thousands to only see that they did a few hundred dollars of over the phone work for my case. You ruined my life because of the case YOU chose to not represent but took money for it!! LEGAL THIEF!!!

Dear Client, -First, I apologize that you are presently not satisfied with our services. I am very much aware of whom you are and your present frustrations since you are the only client that has expressed dissatisfaction with our representation in a very long time. -At the onset of your case, I expressed to you that this was “an uphill battle” and the goals that you are attempting to attain are extremely difficult. I also expressed that, to attain your goals, was going to take numerous strategic steps and ongoing litigation. Over many years of practice, I have learned to set realistic client expectations and to be honest with our clients from the onset. Unfortunately, this process is not moving as quickly as you would like. Due to the nature of your case, I understand your frustrations. However, the legal process takes time and I can assure you that when this case is over, the result will be equitable. -The work conducted by the paralegals and associates has been devised as benefit to our clients. Thankfully our firm has been blessed with many talented, educated, and hard-working individuals. They are fully competent to address issues with clients. Our associates have proven to be skilled litigators and handle sensitive client matters daily. However, when a client desires or requires my participation, I make myself available. I charge a premium rate for my time. Therefore, it is often times more cost-effective to have paralegals and associates conduct matters that are routine. -Our firm utilizes video-conferencing as a cost-effective means of conducting business that allows us to pass the savings on to our clients. At our firm, we leverage technology in all facets to allow us to more effectively represent our clients. We have moved away from the “traditional” means of operating a law firm. We understand that this evolution is not for everyone. However, again, we are honest with our clients from the onset. Based on your review, I suspect that at your initial consultation, prior to hiring our firm, we utilized video conferencing. -Often times the attorneys do work from their home offices. As you may know, we work long hours and handle life-changing matters every single day. This is no easy feat and I find that there should be a good “work-home balance” in order to keep our attorneys in a good state of mind when litigation ensues. I can assure you that our education, experience and tenacity are not effected because we are conducting work in our home. -I hope this addresses some of your frustrations and I look forward to our continued work together.

Horrible representation

Completely unethical and does not take or return phone calls through office or cell. Has a horrible attitude, extremely rude in person. She never gave me her cell number. Don't expect to talk to her in court, she'll leave while you're waiting for her. She seems more concerned about how much money she... is getting than the specifics to the case.

Beware

Christina Jimenez Is by far the the most unethical and unprofessional attorney I have ever retained. My initial consultation and contract signing was conducted through her assistant which I am not even sure is legal. My entire representation was conducted through her assistant. All the pleadings, cor...respondence, and phone calls were with her office personnel. At the final hearing her colleague was the one to finalize my case. I never once met or even saw her at all what so ever. Please be aware of attorneys who simply take your retainer and completely disregard you and your case there after. By far the sorriest excuse for an attorney I have ever met.

To Whom It May Concern: Thank you for your feedback. Allow me to personally apologize for the dissatisfaction you experienced with my representation. I have built this firm on the foundation of hard work, professionalism, and ethics. I take your critique to heart and will do my best to ensure that this does not happen again. I have always had policies in place to avoid concerns such as yours. Specifically, I make it a policy to continually be in contact with each client during my representation. Often times, if a case is not complex, this contact may be communicated to my clients by paralegals and associates in order to reduce the amount of attorney's fees. If your case is more complex, I tend to be more involved. However, I can assure you that I make the decision for every case with the assistance of my staff. Additionally, all work conducted by paralegals and associates is under my direct supervision. After reading your concerns, I immediately addressed this matter with my team. I have reviewed my files and I am unable to identify a case that was handled as you described. I urge you to please contact me via my cell phone to discuss this matter. As a former client, you should have this information, as I make it a practice to give all clients my cell phone number. My performance, as you describe it, is unacceptable. Given the opportunity, I will do everything within my power to remedy this situation. Sincerely, Christina Jimenez
