Andrew Weisberg is a Legal Expert & Asset in Chicago

The first time I called Andrew for help he made my misdemeanor disappear. He stood out to me from the others because of the way he explained my situation to me. He was confident and knew what to expect. The second time I called him for help, he realized immediately that I needed a lot more than a... lawyer. He connected me with a therapist that specializes in shoplifting right away and it basically saved my life. Andrew has been representing me in court for 1.5 years since then. Facing criminal charges has been one of the scariest, toughest, and most complex things I’ve ever experienced. The language, the system, the process, the sentencing, the cost, the uncertainty, the waiting, the anxiety, the trauma - he has been an unwavering source of strength and safety through it all for me. It is so important to have that one stable thing in your life during this kind of time and Andrew is it. He taps into every bit of his extensive knowledge and pulls from every resource he possibly can to consistently secure the best outcomes for me. He doesn’t stop advocating for me even when we think there’s nowhere left to go. Working together never feels transactional and he shows up in every way. I get his undivided attention every time we meet or speak. He responds to my calls, texts, and emails right away, every time. He sets clear expectations for me and usually exceeds them. He doesn’t speak poorly of other people even in the most frustrating and seemingly unfair situations. He explains everything I need / want to know (I ask a ton of questions) and he doesn’t believe in stupid questions. He is incredibly patient with me and has never made me feel pressured to do something I’m not sure about. He gives me as much time as I need to process things before taking next steps. He is an expert and an asset in the legal community. Chicago is very lucky to have him.

HOLY GRAIL of ALL CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNIES

I had a misdemeanor battery arrest that had shown up in my in my pre-employment background check. My new employer requested a copy of the certified disposition within a very tight timeframe. Living out of state, my only option was to fly over to Chicago to retrieve the disposition. Panicking, i decid...ed to email Andrew at around midnight after reading a plethora of good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response from him almost immediately. After an initial consultation, which required him going to the courthouse and verifying that my matter was indeed expungeable, he contacted me the next day. Not only did he submitted the paperwork for expungement almost immediately, but he also offered to send me a copy of the disposition and write a letter to my new employer explaining the contents of it just in case they get lost in deciphering all the illinois-specific legal jargon. If you're looking for a lawyer that's not only professional, but also personable, accessible and actually cares about you, look no further. Andrew Weisburg is your man. Not all heroes wear capes!

Honest, straightforward attorney

A few months back I received word my son was in jail charged with a felony. I live 700 miles from Chicago. I didn't know any attorneys there or know the process to bail him out. I found Mr Weisberg on the internet. He gave me lots of counsel and direction before I even hired him. I was amazed at ...how quickly he responded to texts, phone calls and emails from myself and my son. He explained the worst and best case scenario in a way that was easy to understand and with compassion. Because of Mr Weisberg's expertise, my son's case was resolved in a very short time with charges reduced to a misdemeanor. I'm really grateful I hired Mr. Weisberg.

Best of the best!!

Andrew Weisberg is fantastic. I was charged with with my first felony (retail theft) in 2015. I'd called about 10 lawyers before reaching Mr. Weisberg, and they had all recommended pleading down to a misdemeanor, fighting a trial, or just pleading guilty to the felony and getting probation (since the...re was video footage). Mr. Weisberg was the only one who was able to calm me down and explain to me that there were programs for first time offenders, where I would be in a probation-type setting for about a year, then the charges would be dismissed. No other lawyers had even told me about this program. I'm currently still in the program, and can expunge the charges once the program is complete. I did miss one of my court dates while in the program, and Mr. Weisberg was able to keep me in the program with a warning from the judge. I thought I'd be kicked out, but Mr. Weisberg got in touch with the related people and with fair certainty, assured me everything would be fine. When I requested he come to court with me in case things went sour, he even rearranged his schedule to make sure he'd be there that next week for my rescheduled court date (which was in 4 days!) Mr. Weisberg really doesn't take the easy way out. If it weren't for him, I would probably have to live with a felony/misdemeanor on my record for life or spend time in jail, especially after the missed court date. Compared to some other "top-notch" lawyers in Chicago, Mr. Weisberg knows more ways to help you and WILL fight for you without giving up, rather than just half-assing your case because you aren't their priority.

Excellent Criminal Defense Attorney

Andrew Weissberg effectively saved my life. I am a young, PhD-bound person who had never been in trouble with the law, and when I was falsely accused of a felony-level crime which could have meant jail time and basically ruining my life, I could not afford to get anything but the best legal defense m...y family could afford. Andrew was that defense. He is an experienced criminal attorney; it is an understatement to say that he knows the ins and outs of the criminal justice system. Andrew is also a kind, caring person. He is almost always instantly available; whenever you text him that you want to talk, he usually calls or texts you within minutes. Andrew started as a stranger, but he ended as a friend. My court proceedings lasted for 1.5 years, and Andrew was always there for me from day one. He actively engages with you so that you know exactly what's going on and exactly what you need to do to get that Not Guilty verdict at trial. That's what I got because of his talent and effort.
