Went above and beyond.

I was in a pretty bad spot. I had, in hindsight, said some things I shouldn't have said had I known the trouble it would bring. Nevertheless, I called someone out for shady activity online and I ended up entangled in a lawsuit over it. I went to a list of lawyers who were willing to help people in... a situation not unlike mine and found Mudd Law. After speaking with Charles he agreed to take my case at a really reasonable price and let me work out a fair payment plan. This case could have financially ruined me for the foreseeable future and I needed help badly. Mr. Mudd was very helpful and personable right from the first phone call and I was very comfortable explaining the situation and following the sensible advice he offered. I quickly lost the notion I was dealing with a "lawyer" but was instead dealing with a real person who had a personal and professional interest in helping me solve my problem without trying to fleece me in the process. In the end we were all able to come up with an amicable solution to the problem and it didn't break me financially. I also learned some lessons from my own actions and the guidance I received on how to not end up in a situation like this again, or, if I do, how to handle it better and more importantly, who to turn to if I need real legal console. Thanks again for all your help. You helped walk me through a nightmare and come out stronger on the other side. I'll never forget your kindness and professionalism.

Copyright Infringement

I came to know Charles Lee Mudd Jr. as a songwriter looking for a copyright attorney. I found him through a directory in Chicago. After I spoke with him about a possible infringement case, he took the case on contingency. This was a miracle because other attorneys wanted a sizeable retainer fee, wh...ich neither I nor my co-writer could afford. Charles Lee Mudd Jr. went up against one of the biggest entertainment corporations on the planet. He was honest about the possible outcome and diligently prepared for each hearing and all legal matters concerning our case. He never waivered or lost sight of the merits of our claim. He successfully garnered a settlement from all defendents named in our claim. His courteous and diligent staff speaks volumes about Charles Lee Mudd Jr. as both as a fine attorney but mostly as a warm human being. As the old saying goes, "We're glad he was on our side!"
