Kelly Smith was the third bankruptcy lawyer I met. The first one was very warm and friendly, but a bit too nervous. The second was affable and confident, but seemed a bit too slick. Kelly possessed the perfect balance of confidence, integrity, and competence. She knows what she's doing, and my case w...as went so smoothly thanks to her representation. I did get frustrated a few times because I thought she could be a bit brusque in emails and on the phone, but I'd rather have a competent lawyer than a warm fuzzy one which is why I selected her to represent me in the first place. She was highly professional, and gave excellent legal advice. In the end, my case went exactly as I would have hoped.

I wish I had followed my gut and went with somebody else. I should have taken it as a sign when Stuart ghosted me the first time after I had sent over all my documents. I started this process in July of last year, and asked him if we could put this on hold in December as I was dealing with a lot. We ...started back up in March and I was ready to roll. I provided everything asked of me. In May, I reached out to Stuart again after not hearing from him. Stuart told me that we will be filing my paperwork next week. That week came and went and I would never heard from him again. I was already apprehensive about doing it, but I knew it had to be done. I'm really disappointed that I paid in full to file a Chapter 7, and it was never filled. I emailed Stuart back last week asking him for my filing fee back, I already knew I would take a loss on the over $2000 that I zelled him for my bk7 fee. Even after sending back my filing fee, he offered no explanation again. I wish I wouldn't have been so naïve in the beginning, and cut contact after he ghosted me the first time. Hard pill to swallow, but lesson learned.

Unless you're looking to pull the BK trigger don't bother. All they can do is help you walk away from debt, an assembly line BK mill. You will not get any other alternative from this firm nor are they able to undertake anything besides bankruptcy. Whether you need it or not.
