I got a 40 over traffic violation on I-88 near the Chicago burbs. Court appearance required. Maximum is 1 year and or $2500 fine. Honesty I was very nervous about this case. I've never been to court before. So I contacted several lawers the night getting pulled over and Ken Wang was early to get back.... Ken was the first lawyer I've ever had to hire in my life, and it was great that he made it so easy for me. I had an Aggravated Speeding charge, in addition to a Scott's Law charge (bad night), and I was really worried that I'd get maximum fines that I couldn't afford, possible suspended license..., or realistically, have a misdemeanor charge put on my record that would follow me around. Ken put me at ease pretty much right away on the consolation call, and then made me feel better when we had a more in-depth meeting face-to-face before the court date. Then when my time came to go to the court house (which I'd never been to before), Ken also made everything very easy for me, because that place was insane. I didn't even have to talk to the judge! Ken did pretty much all of the work without me doing anything, and that was pretty awesome. That's not to say that's how it will be with everybody, but for me personally, it felt like all I had to do was hire Ken and I knew I was in good hands. I appreciate that because I'm kind of a mush-mouth, and probably would have screwed it up if I had to defend myself. He was able to bring my two charges down to one petty speeding ticket, and the other will go away with court supervision. I still had to pay a decent amount in fines, but that's better than any of the other alternatives. Ken did great! He was very knowledgeable of everything I did right away, from the moment I called him out of nowhere for a consultation. He knew the answer to pretty much every question I had, which was nice. I would definitely recommend Ken for any traffic related offenses you might get charged with. I hope I never *have* to hire him again (I'll drive slower), but if I find myself in another jam, I'll more than likely be calling Ken. Oh yeah, also he's a really nice guy and is easy to talk to. That goes a long way, especially compared to some of the other lawyers I observed in the court house when I was there.

Ken was great. He helped me get through my first experience with the law. From the beginning Ken was very calming and reassuring about the situation telling me exactly what I could expect at court and what the expected outcome would be. He was able to amend my misdemeanor aggravated speeding ticket down to a petty speeding ticket and I was able to walk out of court with a clean record pending 3 months court supervision.

Unfortunatly I needed to find an attorney for my son who got into trouble for the first time with the law. Ken was referred to me by my fathers attorney,best referral I ever got.
