Great attorney

I received a traffic citation, my first ever. I called Ted and throughout the whole process he was calm and calmed me down. Very reassuring and even enabled my visits and court appearance via zoom because of my disability. His strategy was successful. Whenever I talked with him I felt more at eas...e. Like talking to a good friend with my best outcome being first and foremost. He also has quite the sense of humor. Besides being a great attorney, he's also a truly a good person. I highly recommend Ted no matter what the problem is. You just can't get any better!

2 misdemeanor speeding tickets in Will County

Definitely Recommend!

The first sign that I made the right choice in calling Mr. Hammel was when I called his office on my way to work at 7:30 a.m. fully intending to just leave a voice mail and he actually answered the phone! Upon supplying him with the initial information he asked for, he called and said he would repre...sent my daughter for a serious driving violation. In the process he also reopened a previous speeding violation she had that we had just paid rather than go to court (big mistake to do that by the way, he said). After completing the things Mr . Hammel advised her to do, both her cases were resolved VERY satisfactorily!! Both Ted and Stacey were fantastic to work with and they really made the whole process a lot less scary. I would recommend him to anyone.

Unexpected

Being a CDL holder, having tickets on my record is not an option. After getting a pretty hefty speeding ticket, I made some quick searches to find somebody, and fast. Ted’s name came up. One phone call is all it took. The next time we spoke was the day of court, in which he said, “good news, I protec...ted your CDL” I have to say, I have never felt like I was in better hands. Ted clearly understands the importance of CDL drivers keeping a good driving record. He is clearly knowledgeable and friendly, not a chance I would hire anyone else.
