Review for Ted Hammel

Back in November last year in 2025, I got pulled over for speeding. It was 26-34 over. With it being high speeding I could have gotten jail time, high fines and maybe more like points on my license. I'm glad I came in contact with Ted Hammel, I'm grateful that he made my speeding ticket go to a regul...ar speeding ticket. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need. He answered all my questions that I had and he did a great job.

I like Ted’s professionalism.

Ted Hammel represented me for a minor traffic accident. I felt like I was wrongly charged with the accident, but I can’t unring that bell. So Ted said you don’t want this ticket going on your driving history at the State of Illinois because it will affect your insurance. So Ted told me the best way ...to handle this. I followed his lead and after six months from the accident happening, I went in the court, and I walked out with the case being dismissed. I like Ted’s professionalism and I would recommend him to any friend or family member. I also hired Ted to represent me for not wearing a seatbelt. He told me I would have to watch a two hour video online at home. Answer some questions regarding the video I just watched and once you pass that you get a certificate that you can screenshot, I sent it over to Ted and he submitted certificate to the court, and the case was dismissed. I never had to go to court once on that seatbelt case which is a pain because I would have to drive all the way out to Joliet probably two times. Thanks again, Ted.

Ticket violations

I contacted their office about an emergency that I had with a ticket and it was taken care of no problems at all and very quickly. If I ever need help again, I will know who to call right away best Lawyer/law offices ever thank you.

Excellent lawyer

Perfect, both convictions have been revoked, and you have pleaded guilty to the speeding ticket. You have been supervised by the court, and another case related to traffic control equipment has been dismissed!

HIGHLY recommend!

This review is several months overdue, but I wanted to make sure that I wrote it. Rarely does the need for a lawyer come with good reason or good feeling. My situation was no different. I found myself in a traffic ticket predicament at a time when I needed to be out of sta...te visiting my dying brother. I had no time to handle this, and certainly very little emotional reserve to deal with the additional stress. Ted Hammel was recommended to me by a very trustworthy source, so I made the call. I discussed my case briefly with him and his assistant. They said they would handle things for me. I really had no choice but to trust what I was being told. In addition, my assigned court date ended up falling on what was to be the same day as my brother's funeral the next month, also out of state. Again, they assured me that they would take care of things and that I should focus on my family. That's easy to say sometimes, but not so easy to do. However, in this case, not only did Mr. Hammel and his office take care of appearing to represent me, but they successfully negotiated decisions on my behalf, in what could have been a very tricky and less-than-ideal outcome for me. Of course, I was extremely relieved to have such favorable results, but truly, more than that was the kind and generous humanity shown to me during a devastating personal time. I was given the gift of being able to trust in the capabilities and professionalism of Ted and his office and leave it in his hands, while my mind was far away, and my energy needed to be elsewhere. If it's reasonable to say something that should have been unpleasant turned into an experience that allowed me to feel thankful and grateful, then this is it. For the purpose of this review, I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Ted Hammel to anyone in need of his expertise. Do yourself a favor, and make sure that you call his office if you find yourself needing a lawyer.
