Larry Davis is the one to hire fo dealings with the Illinois Secretary of State office on suspended/revoked driver's license and related matters. He knows the law, the people, the folklore, what can be done and what cannot. He (and his colleagues) are VERY responsive and do a great job for their cl...ients. I'm a 60 year old tradesman whose previous life was going to the bars after work, weekends etc. Needless to say, I racked-up many DUI's and for a while, wondered if I'd ever drive again. That brought me to the office of Mr. Davis, who's reputation as "The Best in the Business" preceded him. This was... no time to bargain shop for a parachute. Our Saturday morning meeting was all business, where he laid out what he could do for me, providing I comply with his mandates, and how much it would cost. Although I haven't received my full reinstatement yet, I have been in front of the Sec. of State twice, first to petition for an RDP and the second was for it's extension. Finding myself in a situation of having my driver's license revoked for life, it took over (11) eleven years to finally get an opportunity to regain my driving privileges. Having accumulated (6) six D.U.I.'s in my lifetime, I turned to the most honest and professional firm I knew of in the State of ...Illinois; The Davis Law Group, P.C. Fortunately, I had moved to Michigan and have resided there for the last (11) eleven years, still without a license. Remaining skeptical, right up to the final decision, I was introduced to the Davis Law Group's secret weapon; Larry's daughter Merrill, an attorney herself. Through Merrill's unstoppable diligence and intelligence, she did much of the leg work for Larry. I am certain of one thing, without her there it is a good possibility I may not be writing this endorsement. For many, many weeks I was on the phone with her, several times a day. My voice had become recognizable to Larry's whole staff and my calls were transferred to Merrill, without so much as asking for her, or who was calling. The whole process was tedious, yet fulfilling. By the time I showed up for my hearing, Larry had the hearing down to a script from a storybook. I don't believe I was in the hearing for more than an hour. It was more of a question and answer interview than one of the most significant moments of my life. Without any assurance as to how the outcome would be, I left back to Michigan with a air of confidence, with no real basis why. All I knew was that between Larry's demeanor and Merrill's determination, my chances , though quite improbable, seemed like a real possibility.
