Best DUI lawyer in illinois

Couldn't ask for anyone better. He took care of everything. Got me out of the license suspension and conviction. His prices are extremely reasonable. He cared for my DUI like we were lifelong friends and he was helping someone he cared about.

VERY CONCERNED DUI CLIENT

I came to Larry in July of 2011 for a 2ND DUI IN the past 8 years I interviewed 5 lawyers Larry was always upfront and promised nothing to me even if it want what I wanted to hear, moving forward Larry informed me of the penalties for a 2nd DUI and what it could do do my career and criminal record we... went to court on 3 appearances my sobriety video didn't look that good we watched it together I didn't really want to go to trial had way to much to lose so it negations with the prosecutor Larry worked out a very favorable plea bargain for me that ended up to me pleading down to reckless driving never lost my Drivers License however I do have to do some SWAP hours and of course pay a fine, Larry did a GREAT job he knows everyone inside and out in that Rolling Meadows Courthouse and truly cares for the well being of his client if you have a driving situation in cook county and don't hire this man you are flat out crazy in my eyes he is a very knowledgeable lawyer and even brought my parent to my last court date where he spoke with them and informed them what was going to happen of course with my consent, Larry saved not only my license but a criminal record possibility and my job as well overall he got me a very good deal I don't even have to have the BAID device in my car which was a concern as well. Hire this man if you need help in the cook county court system.

Diligent and Knowledgeable Attorney Recommended for Cook County Offendors at Rolling Meadows

I came to Larry in February 2011 after being pulled over for DUI at 4 am just days before. I took the field sobriety tests and also submitted to a breathalyzer which registered a .135 BAC. In a 30 minute meeting Larry took all of my information along with a detailed description of the events and we...nt to work. I had a prior DUI in 2001, roughly 10 years ago, so this was my 2nd offense and I was unaware of the much more stringent penalties being handed down by the courts. Larry took the time to explain various scenarios and what our options were. Seven months and 5 court appearances later, I am able to retain my license and driving privelages with the one caveat being that I drive with a BAIID device in my car for the next year. I was not convicted of the DUI and was sentenced to one year probation for a lesser count of reckless driving. Larry has vast knowledge of DUI law and with 35 years of experience has built relationships with many of the individuals involved in the Rolling Meadows, IL court system. His diligence on my case was much appreciated and the outcome was something that didn't seem possible just a few months earlier given the evidence present against me. Thanks to Larry I am now able to continue driving to and from work (a 60 mile roundtrip that would not have been possible without retaining my license), pick up my son from daycare, and do all of the things that are necessary in everyday life that requires transportation. I would strongly recommend his services for any case involving DUI/DWI in Cook County set for hearing at the Rolling Meadows courthouse.

1st DUI offense...better outcome than I thought.... "Not guilty!"

First off, I recommend praying for God's mercy, grace and wisdom, as it was clearly seen in the court room this day. I was referred to Larry Dohman by another DUI attorney service (website) because the attorneys at the other service didn't handle this part of Cook County (Rolling Meadows courthouse).... At first I was skeptical because it wasn't a lawyer from the website but after my meeting with him, my gut first impression of Larry was that he was knowledgeable, didn't give any false promises and was plain up front and honest. I'm usually a good judge of character and felt that he was very genuine as well. He knows the right questions to ask and will let you know if your case is a tough one or if it has a chance to have a good outcome - as long as you get your facts right. He is also knowledgeable with almost all the judges in that courthouse...so that was definitely a BIG plus and was a BIG influence - as he had a better idea of the tendencies of certain Judges. I guess that's where the 35 years of experience pays off. He also informed me that there were certain Judges that may possibly put me in jail due to an additional "incident" that was filed in the report. Attorneys won't usually know the schedule of the Judges until it nears the court date, so if we did have a Judge that would be more severe with my trial, he made sure we would set another trial date - hopefully with a different Judge. Anyways, back to the trial. To be honest, I was very nervous even though we supposedly had a more "lenient" Judge that day. I didn't think I would get off that easy due to the additional "incident" in my report that the state trooper clearly exaggerated. During the trial, Larry pointed out the main things based on the video and testimony that were inconclusive of me driving under the influence. Although he did mention some obvious, but minor, anomalies that happened during the sobriety test, he used those points to actually reinforce that I maintained my balance throughout. Before the Judge gave the final verdict, it she basically repeated what Larry said. It's like Larry knew what aspects to focus on...and what the Judge was going to focus on as well to determine if I was, in fact, driving under the influence. Larry did awesome. Even another lawyer in the room said "good job" as we walked by before the continuation. Anyways...I was very ecstatic with outcome and am so excited that I asked Larry if there was anywhere online where I could post a review of him and my experience. Thank you Larry. Good job. Congratulations to you too. This is one more successful case to add to your books. =) Oh...one thing to note for the readers out there. If you do use Larry as your attorney, and I highly recommend him, please note that because he is a lawyer he is at court often and most likely has plenty of clients. Be, patient, he is a one man show, but still takes the time to focus on you.

Larry Dohman got me a not guilty veridct on my 2nd dui

I was pulled over for my second DUI stop, Larry represented me on my first as well, and I hired Larry to represent me. Larry knows his way around the courthouse in Rolling Meadows, and his cross examination of the police officer was outstanding and his preparation and listening skills saved me a con...viction( I was found not guilty). You will get a lot of advertsiments from other attorney's offering cut rate services, but take my advice and hire Larry Dohman.
