Criminal OWI Dismissed in Milwaukee County

After repeated efforts to get the prosecutor to realize that the case against me had serious evidentiary flaws, Attorney Hayes convinced the prosecutor to dismiss all charges in January 2018. His confidence, professionalism, and communication were all outstanding. Highly recommended.

Amazing Results

I hired Mr. Hayes to help with my probationary licensed daughters speeding ticket. It was a big ticket and was threatening her drivers license. This was the first time my husband and I have had to hire an attorney. I went to the first court date with her alone, we realized this may be beyond us. ...Called Mr. Hayes and he was AMAZING! He took care of court for us. He is smart and easy to talk with. We were so pleased with the outcome. He told us the day we could apply for her regular drivers license so that she was not on a probationary license at the final court date, so no double points. It was a wonderful experience. OWI reduced to reckless driving

As a licensed health care professional, I needed to avoid any further negative implications following my arrest for operating under the influence. I used the AVVO site to discuss my options with a number of lawyers. I made the right choice when I hired Michael Hayes who was able to get the OWI ticke...t amended to reckless driving after filing a motion challenging the officer’s right to require me to perform further field sobriety tests after I had successfully recited the alphabet and performed the counting test while seated in my car. Our son's drunken driving charges seemed so hopeless. Mr. Hayes changed that.

We almost threw in the towel when our son blew .09 after being pulled over and arrested one night. Our real estate attorney said he could help us but told us Michael Hayes was the best attorney in the area at working through DUI and underage drinking charges. Thank God we took his advice. Mr. Hayes... eliminated the 55 year penalty that would have been on my son's driving record and carefully dissected what happened with the police and the implied consent law. Our 20-year-old was fortunate and the DUI charges were dropped without ever appearing in court. Equally important, Mr. Hayes really worked with my son to make sure he understands how terrible the penalties can be when you don't take responsibility for getting in that car after a few drinks -- without making him feel more ashamed and like a hopeless criminal. We're so relieved our son got a second chance and we were referred to someone who knows the laws, penalties, and the local municipalities inside out. We strongly recommend Michael M. Hayes.
