I found John using a simple Google search, " best OWI lawyer in southern Wisconsin". John was one of 5 attorneys I called. He was the only one that was actually willing to talk to me personally and right away I could tell he actually cared about getting me justice. It was a difficult battle at the mu...nicipal level and it didn't go anywhere due to a biased judge that didn't care to actually look at the evidence, so we took it to the county level in a jury court. It was an almost 3 year process for me particularly due to covid but thru the duration of that time John never stopped working hard on my case. When the day finally came for my chance in court, John was prepared and made all the right decisions that he figured would be our best chance at winning. He worked on his toes and caught every little mistake in the officers story. He presented all these points to the jury and luckily they saw our point of view. I could not have asked for a better attorney for me. He always treated me like a real person, and he is very down to earth. Definitely would recommend John Bayer to anyone. And will be my first call if I ever need his help again.

Honest, straight forward, and a fighter.

It was my first offence and John helped with my situation. He checks everything to help with my case and fought to not get the Interlock. I am really glad he went above expectations and recommend him to represent you.

I turned to John Bayer for a OWI (3rd offense) I received back in July of 2019. Not my greatest moment, I was definitely worried about jail time due to my 3rd offense in 20 years. John reassured me that with the information he had in the case that he could steer me clear of going to Jail. I apprec...iate everything John and Michael did for me, as well as my family. He won my case!

At our initial meeting, John listened to my specific concerns then and used every possible resource available to build a strong defense. Every step of the way he was prepared, and his experience has given him an edge in knowing what to expect from certain judges in certain counties. It was a long fig...ht, but in the end, the Waukesha county prosecutor’s office finally gave in and reduced the charges to a non-criminal offense because they knew John Bayer’s defense was stonger than the state’s case. I could not have been happier with the outcome – if it weren’t for John Bayer, I would have ended up doing jail time.

Case (2- years Duration): Second offence OWI (.127 blood)... – Contested refusal charges - Jury trial – Verdict not guilty on OWI and PAC. Mr. Bayer relentlessly attacked officer for miss-characterization of statement I made/did not made and the credibility of blood sample and sampling/handling process conducted by the MKE officer.
