An impossible victory.

My name is Nick. I hired John as my attorney for a OWI case that carried two serious felony charges. My case stemmed from a divorce and developed into an OWI case that as far as I could see, was going to end my career and send me to prison. I made every bad decision a person could, making any attorne...y's job a very difficult one. John walked me through every step I needed to take to give myself a fighting chance. His organization and attention to detail is unparalleled. John and even his brother Mike did everything they could to help keep my attitude positive during what I feel was one of the darkest times in my life. My case started in in 2019 and has gone on for almost 3 years. Not once did he bury me in unnecessary fees. John was able to get a not guilty verdict on both of these felony charges while maintaining his integrity. He maintained that honesty was going to be my best defense and it worked. My case was won because John put everything he had into my case. He doesn't miss a detail. Winning this case saved my career and saved my son from having to watch his father go to prison. John makes you feel like you have a friend in that court room when it seems like the world is against you. Better outcome than expected!

I'm a truck driver with a 15 year clean driving record who was written a career altering citation for a minor accident. Bayer got it reduced to the equivalent of a hefty parking ticket. Exceeded expectations, and excellent communication. Definitely worth the investment.

Speeding ticket - IL driver

Needed help navigating a WI speeding ticket for a IL driver. They were very helpful with questions and procedures. I have never had the need before and worried how it would all come together, but everything went as predicted. Always responded to questions and very much appreciated their services

OWI Charge

I was charged with a first time OWI. Since I drive for a living I needed the best result possible for my case. After speaking with John he explained my options. When I told him about the incident he believed we had a good chance at fighting the charge. It took a while to resolve but John repres...ented me well. He got the OWI charge reduced to a wreckless driving ticket. I couldn't be any happier with the way John handled my case. John and Mike were professional throughout the process. OWI 4th

Two years ago late February, I decided to go out to a local bar for some drinks and pizza. With it being Wisconsin and end of February we had plenty of snow on the ground. Upon my arrival at the bar I parked my vehicle not realizing that I parked up onto the snow covered sidewalk. Cops were called by... the owner of the building as I was drinking in the bar for about 40 minutes. The officer decided to take me out from the bar and instead of giving me a ticket for parking on the sidewalk, decided to charge me with a felony fourth OWI. I could not believe what was happening! After posting bail I was on a search for a great attorney to fight for me. I found that attorney here at Bayer Law. John had me in the office later that day for a consultation. When my fiance and I entered we knew we were in good hands and he was going to fight for a non guilty verdict. He immediately started working on my case as he knew I had so much to lose if convicted. Mike and John worked hard to go through the body cam footage to come up with our best defense. The first time I saw John in action during my preliminary hearing I knew I had the best lawyer in my corner. He legally attacked the officer on every angle. He even got the officer to admit under oath certain statements which then proved in the police report found being untrue. After over two years of fighting my case we finally had our day in court. Through all this time John and Mike remained in touch with me. John would take the time explain everything to me so I understood what was going on and what will happen. Their law office even had their assistant, Kristina, call me to make sure I was prepared if I was found guilty and any resources I might need. Our day in court finally happened. The proceedings were nerve racking to say the least, but I had complete faith in my attorney. At first I was not going to testify as I knew they would bring up how many convicted crimes I had, but I knew as did my attorney, that I had to tell my story. John Bayer advised me the day of, as he did multiple times before, that testifying is completely my choice. He gave me advice before testifying and told me I would do good, just tell the truth. At closing arguments, John had my back letting the jury know that a simple traffic ticket should not have turned into an OWI charge, it is unjust. The best two words I could hear were being told "Not Guilty" on both counts. John was always professional inside and outside the courthouse, listened to my concerns and questions, and most of all showed me compassion and support through the whole process. Although this situation is not ideal, I would still have chosen John and the team at Bayer Law Offices to represent me. John is an amazing attorney and person. If you find yourself in a situation like this hire John. He will be there every step of the way and fight to the end for the best outcome for your case! Thank you John and Mike!
