Recommend without Reservation

I was referred to Alan Olson by my doctor who has been practicing for decades and is no stranger to health-related employment conflicts. After my first meeting with Alan, I walked away feeling both relieved and confident that I had an ally in dealing with a very powerful employer. My problem was ...an unusual one, and it didn’t lend itself to a routine solution. Alan listened carefully to the many details of my situation, we talked about various options, and he assessed each for me. I understood the likelihood of which options might work and which were likely not to work, and why. Alan was very up-front about cost and how he saw events unfolding. He negotiated on my behalf and resolved my problem in a matter of weeks. I was very pleased with the outcome. In the aftermath, we had some details that required attention, and he was just as prompt, attentive, and responsive to my emails as he had always been. He saw my case through to the end with diligence and care. I would recommend Alan C. Olson without reservation.

A true expert in employment law!

Having been terminated from my position without cause, I consulted with Alan about possible recourse. It was a complicated case but I could tell that Alan was understanding the issues by the great questions that he was asking. He took thorough notes and in the end he gave me his opinion that we had... a case. After Alan's initial letter to my former employer, things began to happen immediately. The letters written by Alan were factual, to the point and clearly articulated our position and our requested remedy. Although my employer refused to deal with me, they definitely took notice when Alan began corresponding with them. I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and results!

Winning the Case

Alan and his staff did an outstanding job winning for me. In order to determine if my case was valid, and one he could win, he sat down with me and listened to what I had to say. His responses after listening to me helped me realize that Alan is extremely knowledgeable, and together with his... many years of experience, made me feel confidence in him and a trust that he would work hard to win my case. He introduced his staff that would work with him throughout the case. I was impressed with his entire staff and how they contributed to my case. As the case progressed, I knew I had made the right choice in selecting Alan C. Olson and Associates to represent me. I was very pleased when I received the phone call from Alan stating that the case had been won.

Outstsnading attorney

My employer chose not to renew my contract last year. The contract stated I was entitled to a year's salary for "termination other than good cause." They tried to claim non-renewal did not constitute "termination," and claimed they owed no severance. But they made a "generous offer" of 40 cents on th...e dollar. I was referred to Alan Olson. He believed they were wrong, and we would prevail in court. But he warned it would be a long battle. He gave sage advice suggesting I concentrate on my job search and let him worry about the legal matters, The case went to arbitration, with a hearing in May, just about a year to the day after the bank notified me of the non-renewal. The arbitrator ruled in our favor on June 30. I received a year's salary plus legal fees. Alan Olson was correct on every issue raised, and was always responsive to my needs and inquiries. I would recommend him highly to anyone with an unethical employer intent on cheating and deception.

Alan Olson

I feel so fortunate that I called Alan Olson, when I was looking for an Attorney. I had a case involving three seperate charges. I came to him still in shock of being fired and kind of unloaded all my information. He calmly went through all the details with me. He demeanor helped me believe every...thing would be alright. In court he was really something. He was always on time and made sure you were totally prepared about what was going on. I could tell the judges respected him because of his confidence and knowledge of employment law. It was second nature to him. The attorney on the other side was intimidated by him, and kind of took cheap shots and got defensive to cover up her uneasyness. He is one of those people who was meant to be a Lawyer... and is REALLY good at it.
