Highly recommended lawyer! Mr. Grabel is very professional and knowledgable. My case happened suddenly on Saturday, but Mr. Grabel is 24/7 on call, which was what I needed. In December of 2016 I had called the police to my home as a victim of a crime and instead was arrested for OWI and transported to jail in my nightclothes while bleeding profusely. This was both a shocking and terrifying experience. In my 45 years, I had never been in trouble with the law and was un...der the belief that law enforcement was there to help. It was a rude awakening. I was released on bail after about 4 hours and both humiliated and afraid, I began combing the internet to learn about OWI laws in Michigan and what I was facing. I had personal issues in my life that had created a sort of tipping point and under immense pressure I had made some errors in judgement. I didn’t know where to start and how to go about dealing with this pending charge. Initially I wanted to go to trial but changed my mind when I weighed the risks. My charge was plead down and resolved with fines and costs only, no probation or other difficult impositions. The Judge went against the State’s request for probation and agreed with Renee, stating he suspected this was a one time thing. My case was resolved yesterday to my satisfaction and I am able to put this behind me and move on with my life. I am happy with my result and f I would highly recommend Scott Grabel, Renee Wagenaar and Grabel & Associates if you ever find yourself on the wrong side of the law. It is my intention to never be in a position again where I am in need of a criminal defense attorney but if that day ever came, I would call Grabel & Associates without hesitation.

My son was arrested for possession of marijuana on the MSU campus in late January, 2016. After reading all of the wonderful reviews on Scott Grable & associates, we placed a call.
