Money for nothing
At my own fault I misinterpreted a house bill which got me in a minor tangle with the law. Mr. Covert wanted a $300 consultation fee. My fine for a guilty plea would be less than this. I went and talked to a local lawyer that had a free consultation. My local lawyer called the prosecutor and explaine...
I don't charge for criminal consults and never have. I do offer $300 consults for those looking for counsel regarding business licenses and cannabis. Maybe this individual is confused on why he called me or maybe this individual doesn't actually exist. I guess we will never know.
